Your answers to the questions above in paragraph form: The type of career or job I'm trying to pursue is
anything math related. So I would preferably want to work as an Engineer but if not then I would be
interested in teaching the math material to students in high school. Specifically, I would like to become a civil
engineer which focuses on the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built
environment, including public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewerage systems,
pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railways. As of 2015, the salary for a civil engineer is
$82,220. The unemployment rate for civil engineers is 2%.

● Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering college or university
● Minimum of two (2) years civil engineering experience including any of the following: stormwater and sanitary
sewer collection systems, roadway geometry, pavements, or water supply system
● Working knowledge of AutoCad and Civil 3D design software application
● Proficient in the use of software applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
● Valid driver's license
