This course provides students with an opportunity to gain knowledge on the historical development,
experience the different warm-up and rhythmic exercises, and demonstrate partner/group dance choreography
and composition in time with rhythm. Furthermore, this course also intends to appreciate the values of dancing

and encourage self-discovery, spontaneous interaction and experiences that will surely bring direct
satisfaction and pleasure.

Students are expected to complete all class activities, complete exams as scheduled, and turn in all assignments on time. Failure to do so
Course Requirements may result in the loss of points. Minimum requirements to met by the students should include demonstrating adequate achievement of the
learning objectives listed above.
Students shall not be absent exceeding to 10% of the total number of hours allotted for the course.
Students shall engage themselves in group research works and other related activities with the use of technology and up-to-the date
strategies for presentations, classroom discussion and group output.
