INTRODUCTION

This project will show how it can influence and affect the way of speaking and to

pronounce in the life of the people and specially, in the students some ideas were given about

activities for get better pronunciation and capacity for speaking in public, because today it is

very important to how to these activities and so, that in a future the students can be competent

for the society and can improve their diferent project of life.
PROBLEM STATEMENT

The pronunciation and the security at the moment of a exposition of the students at Nuestra

Señora del Rosario school. For example in the students of 9ª grade, they felt with insecurity in

a exposition of spanish class where the grade was affected by the insecurity in the exposition

and also, can affect the pronunciation of the english class due to different factors like the

nerves and so, they can affect the Project that is going to be developed by students.

The simple of this project are the students of 9ª grade because they must present the project

of 11th grade and it is very important that they feel secure at time of the exposition, also the

students of 9 grade because they have the enough age for that they can understand how do

exposition and so they can get used to do it.

In the search of the problem it was found .: how can the pronunciation and the security at

the moment of a exposition of the students of nuestra señora del rosario schoool be

improved?.
JUSTIFICATION

In this Project would be of given a solution of the problem that have some students of

speak in public as they must present the project of 11th grade and is very important that they

have the feelsecure at the time of speak in public , also the students of 9 grade because they

have enought age for that they understand how to do exposition and so theycan get used to it.

This project is not only short-term, also is a long-term because the activities that they

develop for the improvement of speak in public and pronunciation they will beuseful for

humanbeings of Project of life of the students.


THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK

In this proyect is going to be very important have some concepts clear for the well

improvement o these as have a big repercussion in these like activities for improve the

pronunciation, activities for improve the expositions of the students, the importance of the

pronunciation in the life and the importance of know do a expositio.

In view of the curriculum of the degree of Translation and Interpretation, in which no

subject is included in the majority of occasions related to pronunciation or phonetics

phonology of the English language, the question arises as to whether Students achieve the

necessary knowledge and skills For effective oral production and perception or understanding

relation to segmental phonemes and suprasegmental.

According to Balterio (2015) “The teaching of pronunciation and its importance has

always been a subject much debated and studied but also, paradoxically, But today, however,

with the communicative approach to the study of languages, and with an emphasis on

communication, it seems that more attention is being paid to it, especially in the new didactic

materials, which incorporate tasks and activities for the teaching and learning of

pronunciation by students or apprentices, or even specialized materials dedicated exclusively

to this question” (p.5) that is beneficial for this Project as help in the methods for the

improvement of pronunciation. Balterio (2015) also mentions that “Starting from the

observation that the curriculum Of the degree of Translation and Interpretation1 does not

include at present No subject dedicated exclusively to the pronunciation and despite That in

some English language subjects is done An effort to incorporate pronunciation and correct the

student to the extent Even if we can incorporate phonological transcription, we believe than

the knowledge and skills that reach the students andFuture professionals, translators and / or

interpreters, are deficient, deficient And insufficient” (p. 6). Thing that is very important for

this Project as the pronunciation has been lossing imortanceof pronunciation in these times
the that impels improvement of that whit activities in the rooms of class like expositions for

that they can have trust in the pronunciation.

According to J. Blaschke and p. Palao Pons (2003) they mentions that “ The comunication

allows succed in the social sistema in the that we, throught of this you can transmit ideas, sell

their inventions, widen their relations, comunicate their concerns and find links that that allow

satisfy his life” an appearence very important for this Project as with these information is

posible find that the speak and speak in public is very important for the life and that if it can

teach to the Youngs and stufdents it could help in big measure the future of the students. They

also mentions that “ be a good speaker today is a need basic. The actualy world is a global

OBJECTIVES

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

To apply exposition strategies about to do an exposition and how to pronunce in the best form

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

*To search activities for the improvement of the pronunciation in the students.

*To search activities for the improvement about expositions how to speak in public.

*To perform these activities in the 9 grade


METHODOLOGICAL DESIGN

HYPOTHESIS

A possible solution for this project may be the relizacion of different activities such as

workshops designed for the improvement of pronunciation and speaking in public

respectively.

TYPE OF INVESTIGATION

This project presents a type of qualitative research since in order to analyze the qualities,

nature and open-ended answers to students both in the exposition and the pronunciation

RESEARCH APPROACH

This project has an ethnographic approach in which it follows a series of methodical actions

that begin in a deep observation that allows an excellent description of the events that take

place in the 9th grade, in which it’s possible to describe the behaviors, attitudes and

knowledges that students have about the subjects studied in the project.

POPULATION AND SAMPLE

The population indicated for this project is grade 9 since for them it will be very helpful to

help them to have a better pronunciation important for their school life and that could have

more value in the future of the students for example: speaking in public. The sample is taken

to 4 students to perform a general diagnosis about public speaking and the pronunciation that

students have in order to measure their abilities and qualities in these areas to carry out the

respective activities.
DATA COLLECTION INSTRUMENTS

For the collection of data, it is decided to implement interviews and surveys to be able to have

a concrete and clear diagnosis about what is necessary to know; How the shortcomings and

some important aspects to take into account for the accomplishment of the activities.

A survey is a procedure of a descriptive investigation in which the researcher collects data by

means of a previously designed questionnaire, without modifying the environment or the

phenomenon where the information is collected either to deliver it in a dethiptical, graphic or

table form.

PHASES

1. For the realization of the diagnosis the first thing that will be done has to do with the

selection of 3 samples to carry out the diagnosis

2. Then a survey will be applied to the sample to carry out an in-depth diagnosis about the

subject and the management of the subject of the different parameters to be taken into account

in the survey

3. Taking into account the results of the survey, carry out a workshop or activity with which

can be improved the main failures of the students to reinforce their knowledge

4. Taking into account the results of the activities, carry out the workshop in the other

members of the group

5. With the obtained results, make an analysis to be able to know the feasibility of the project

and the benefits that this can bring for the students.
6. Check if it is feasible to expand the project to other grades and investigate the influence

about these.

ANALYSIS STRATEGY

Taking into account the results given by the subjects will take into account the method of

describing the subjects studied, this to have a greater coverage on what the subjects know and

thus be able to take in general knowledge of the degree for the application and Development

of the workshop and subsequently for the conclusions

BUDGET

For this Project it is necessary to apply some materials for the developing of the respectives

activities for this we count withe papers that has a price of $5.000 that for the first and second

season of recogrition because with these we will make a diagnosis and the nissellaneous

expenses with a price of $3.000 and in the and is necessary to help of an professional of the

students in the application of the orality, the price of that can be of $50.000.
