People around the world have different beliefs on animal testing.

Experiments should
stop abusing and testing on animals in their trials because it’s cruel and inhumane, and show
invalid data results. Some people agree on the idea that these experiments are a waste of time and
very complex and harmful to all of the animals being tested on. Yet others believe that all of this
testing is releasing cures for any medical miracles. Therefore, it’s evident that they should stop
testings on animals because it’s cruel, inhumane, and the data results are unreliable.
Animal Experiments and trials are very cruel and inhumane because these testings make
the animals do these that are considered are cruelty and long periods of torture. Lindsay
Marshall, PhD claims that “Animal research certainly fails animals, in terms of the distress and
suffering caused, and just as importantly, animal research often fails people, too, in terms of the
slow, unproductive route to useful treatments. More than 90 percent of drugs that have passed
animal trials for safety and efficacy are not successful in treating the human disease for which
they are intended…” Lindsay is trying to express the idea that animals go through horrible
unhealthy situations and the drugs given aren’t even meant for research. These animals have to
go throughout distress, suffering, and unbearable stages during the experiments just for
nothing.Jane Goodall , PhD said this about her idea of animal experiments ,​"I​ n the name of
science or medicine, animals are subjected to countless invasive, frightening and sometimes very
painful procedures. We all want to see cures for terrible diseases such as Parkinson's (which
afflicted my mother), cancer (to which I lost my husband), multiple sclerosis and so on, but
regardless of how much or how little these experiments benefit human health, should we exploit
animals in this way?” This helps us better understand that animals are going through rough
experimentations when they are even trying to find a cure. If experimenters are trying to find a
medical miracle they should try better subjects than animals since all they’re doing is harm.
Animals testings have been showing more invalid data and no life changing results to the
medical field so why continue to use a subject when it’s not concluding any medical mysteries.
Kathy Archibald states "Not only are animals poor models of safety for humans, but they are also
unreliable for demonstrating the effectiveness of treatments too. Just as many drugs fail in
clinical trials because they turn out to cause side-effects in humans, many others turn out to be
ineffective in humans, despite performing well in animals…” Kathy is telling us that what is the
reason to have animals as our lab subjects when they are a poor model. If we keep on using
animals as our subjects we won’t find a direct solution to any medical miracle that’s the title in a
clinical trial. When conducting on animals you won’t be able to conclude if it’ll be successful on
human bodies since the anatomy of an animal is different than the anatomy of a human being.

that animals shouldn’t be used as subjects because we’re basically wasting our time
experimenting on them when we can find better models and basically wasting our taxpayers
money on these experiments that aren’t showing the best conclusions a sciecntist can hope for.
On the other hand, some people would argue that animal experiments help scientists to
figure out the biggest medical miracles and is a huge contribution to the clinical trials and new
medicine. As Juan Carlos Marvizon explains, “Nobody said that science was easy. However,
giving up animal research following the advice of animal rights ideologues would the most
foolhardy thing to do. The ultimate proof that animal research is able to produce cures for human
diseases.” This evidence illustrates the idea that science can take time and it’s not easy. In order
to produce cures for human beings scientists should take their time with the experiments.
However, there is many new types of alternatives to animal testing by using human blood cells,
tissues, and computer-modeling techniques. Therefore, they should stop using animals as their
subjects if there is more ways to find cures and possibly even faster and more realistic results.
In conclusion, scientists should stop experimenting on animals. Researchers have
developed many new alternatives that eventually cheaper and less complex. Animal research was
only bringing harm and bringing harm into human beings with false conclusions from trials done
on animals. Animals aren’t reliable because they don't have the same anatomy so why should
researchers continue to experiment on subjects with different outcomes than a human being.
