disability in the young adult population.injury occurring to spinalcord may cause mild to severe paralysis and
anaesthesia of the entire body caudal to injury or in the distribution of the nerve root originating from the
injured area of spine.spinal injuries have the lowest functional outcomes and lowest rates of return to work
after injury of all major organ systems.primary goals of treatment are prevention and limitation of neurological
injury as well as restoration of spinal stability.many surgical approaches exists, among them pedicle screw
fixation is used for wedge compression fractures of dorsolumbar spine which provides greater stability to spinal
column and good functional outcome compared to previous implants.considering these advantages present
study was planned.
