DAILY VEHICLE INSPECTION CHECKLIST

1. Engine Oil Level


 Open front hood
 Pull the dipstick and check the level

2. Water Level
 Check water reservoir if in maximum level

3. Oil leak and Vehicle Cleanliness


 Conduct 360 degree check
 Check under chassis for engine oil leak

4. Lights including DRL are working and no exposed bulbs and wires
 Start engine and switch on all lights

5. Reversing Alarm Operation


 Start engine and change gear in reverse position

6. Horn Operation
 Start engine and push horn button

7. DashCam/CCTV are working, clean or align if necessary


 Start engine
 Check dashcam screen if recording and no error
 Check CCTV LED panel if all lights are working (2-Orange, 1-Green)
 Check internal and external cameras if all are align or clean

8. Seatbelts are operational


 Inpect the fabric
 Test the buckle
 Extend and Retract the belt

9. Air Pressure Build-up


 Start engine and check for air leak

10. Drain All Air Tank


 Pull air tank drain valve
11. Tanker for Leaks from Tank, Pipelines and Fittings
 Check bolt torque mark for possible movement

12. Tires for Servicable Condition


 Check tread depth (Steer >3mm, Others >2mm)
 No tire wall damage, no bulges and no separation
 No rim damage, crack, bent or dent

13. Hubbolts and Wheel Nuts/Bolts are complete


 Check bolt and wheel nuts

14. Torque Indicators


 Check torque mark for possible movement

15. Fire Extinguisher Pressure Gauges are in Green and with Updated Inspection Tag
 Check 2x 20lbs
 Check 1x 10lbs

16. Hose Fittings, Camlocks, API Condition


 Remove dust cup and check the condition

17. Pumping Hoses are Disconnected and Properly Stowed


 Check the pumping hose if disconnected and stowed

18. Windshield and Mirrors for Cracks


 Clean, no crack, no sticker that restricts the driver’s view

19. Loose Objects, Fittings, Tools, etc. Inside the Cab


 No loose object inside the cab
 Abloy box, CCTV panel, fire extinguisher are secured

20. Excessive Smoke from Exhaust


 Start engine and check the smoke

21. Wheel Chocks and Early Warning Device


 Check 2 pairs of wheel chock
 Check 3 pcs of early warning device
 Check 4 pcs safety cones

22. Grounding Rod is Not Dirty or Loose


 Check grounding rod if clean
 Check if unpainted

23. Documents are Not Expired (OR/CR, Fire Permit, Calibration)


 Check if documents are still valid

24. Overall Features of Tank Truck Safe


 Check all interlock
 Check under run protection

25. ID and PPE (Head, Eye, Hand, Foot Protection and etc)
 Check if clean and appropriate
WEEKLY VEHICLE INSPECTION CHECKLIST

1. Battery Condition, Terminals and Acid Levels


 Open battery cover
 Check battery terminal with non-conductive material
 Check last date of installation

2. Vehicle Lenses and Mounts


 Clean, no crack, no damage and no sticker that restricts the driver’s view

3. Tractor/Trailer Electrical Connector


 Start engine and switch on all lights
 Check 7 way socket

4. Tractor/Trailer Pneumatic Connector


 Start engine
 Check coil hose and glad hand rubber for leak

5. Wiper, Washer Operation and Blade Condition


 Start engine and switch on wiper and washer

6. Tire Valve Caps are Fitted


 Check if all are fitted

7. Tire Pressures and Condition (When Tire is Cold)


 Check tire pressures
 Check tread depth (Steer >3mm, Others >2mm)
 No tire wall damage, no bulges and no separation
 No rim damage, crack, bent or dent
 Check bolt and wheel nuts
 Check torque mark for possible movement

8. Clutch Fluid Level


 Open front hood and check the level

9. Handbrake Operation
 Start engine and apply air supply
 Release handbrake (maxibrake)
10. Spill and First Aid Kits
 Check if provided and secured in the cabin

11. Emergency Shut-off Valve


 Pull foot valve switch
 Press emergency shut-off valve

12. Fall Protection Equipment


 Release handrails

13. Valence Drain and Valve (No Debris, Obstruction and Play)
 Check if no debris, obstruction and play
