I Choose Love. It is well known that we live in a society that is divided, whether
locally or globally. We are divided on so many facets: race, religion, politics, ideology, etc.
The final piece this evening, sung by all choirs, stands as a statement that in the face of
adversity, whatever that may be, we will choose a more positive outcome. All of the
selections this evening stem from the quote above and the idea of choosing a better
outcome. This final piece is presented with all of the members of the choirs singing as one
group. This is symbolic of the notion that we choose to rise above divisions and move
forward together.
Please enjoy this evening’s performance entitled I Choose Love.
