weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
Visioning
Crafting a vision for an organization and conceiving the means to achieve that end.
Understanding the concept of connectedness – how the paths from the present lead to the future
Envisioning and describing an organization's desired future
Reframing
Adjusting and changing the frame of reference through which people view challenges, opportunities, and
vision.
Bringing persons, groups, departments, and organizations into a common frame of reference by
developing a spectrum of understanding
Altering the value or perception of something by altering its context
Systems thinking
Focusing on how things interact with other things within those systems.
Looking at small components in a system and then expanding the view to see how each of those
components relates to the strategy as a whole
Looking for and discovering patterns and relationships
