Dear Nadine Bocelli & Company, Incorporated​,

I am thrilled to be applying for the position of Legal Administrative Assistant at your law firm. I am an
extremely motivated worker with experience working as an assistant as well as in the legal world. I
graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in June 2021, where I received my Bachelor’s degree in
English as well as a minor in Law and Society. I feel that that my coursework is very applicable to this
position and would greatly benefit me during my time at Nadine Bocelli and Company.

Through my Law and Society minor, I gained knowledge in many aspects of the world of law. Courses
such as Mass Media Law, Criminology and Justice, and Crime and Violence have equipped me with
knowledge and skills of this field far beyond those of your average applicant. Additionally, my English
courses have trained me in both organization and tediousness. Courses such as Corporate Communication
and Technical Writing have well prepared me for this position. My educational background in both law
and English would be a huge asset to your firm and has more than equip me with the necessary tools to
excel.

My experience with both work and internships also make me a perfect fit for this role. During the
Summer of 2017, I worked as an assistant to Judge Joyce Watson in Humboldt County. The
organizational skills I learned during this time are immeasurable. Calendering, filing, and helping Ms.
Watson prepare for court were among my responsibilities. The most important skill I gained during this
job was that of cooperation. I not only communicated with other offices and assistants, I also led a group
of interns.

In Summer 2018, I worked as an intern at the Town of Windsor Mayor's Office. My responsibilities
included calendaring, filing, and being overall organized and efficient. I was even tasked with organizing
a meeting between the mayors of every city in Sonoma County. To accomplish this, I successfully
cooperated with a group of 3 other interns, corresponded with other mayors’ offices, booked a conference
room, and arranged travel accommodations. I am extremely organized and love working with others,
which made this task a breeze!

The knowledge and skills I have acquired through my educational, internship, and work experiences make
me the perfect fit for the position of Legal Administrative Assistant. Having read the job description, I am
confident that I would excel at Nadine Bocelli & Company. I look forward to hearing from you and would
