Sacraments Paper

I have chosen the two sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. I chose these two

sacraments because they mean a lot to me. Not only do they mean a lot to me but also to the

relationship I have with God. Every day I try my hardest to make my relationship with God

grow and become better and by doing the seven sacraments I can. When I receive the Eucharist,

I take it very seriously and act like it is another big thing in my life. Also, Confirmation was one

of the biggest if not the biggest religious action that I have happened to me.

Confirmation really meant a lot to me when I received it. Getting confirmed made me

feel like I had so much power and it has allowed me to grow in my faith tremendously. I take

everything seriously when it comes to my religion so every chance I get, I thank God for

everything. I thank him for confirming me and letting me to be able to have deep conversations

with him. I tell God everything that is on my mind and he really does help me with it, he leads

me and loves me no matter what I am going through. Confirmation has allowed me to blossom

and it is one of the most exciting events in life.

When receiving the Eucharist, you cannot take it as an everyday thing that occurs. You

truly must appreciate and get something out of it. As it says in the Redemptive Act, we

“proclaim your death, O Lord, and profess your Resurrection until you come again.” This means
that we are proclaiming Jesus’ death and that we are waiting for that very special day when he

comes again. The Eucharist is the source of Eternal life and we receive Jesus this way because

he is not here to be with us in person. Jesus will always be here for us in spirit because he is the

greatest person in the world. When you receive the Eucharist, you must take it seriously every

time and if you do not then do not even go up and receive it.

Lastly, the Eucharist and Confirmation has allowed me to explore myself and expand my

religious beliefs. These two sacraments have impacted me in a huge way that has allowed me to

become really close to God. I feel like I can talk to God about almost anything that crosses my

mind which is special to me. When I have deep conversations with God, it feels like I am talking

to my mom or dad because I am so close to them. I live every day like it is a day to impress

God, he is my driving passion behind everything I do and what I aspire to be someday. If you

are not connected with God then I highly recommend looking into it, trust me your life will be a

lot better.
