SUBJECT: Motion for Reconsideration

The undersigned respectfully move this Honorable Office for a

reconsideration of its Notice of Decision for Reshuffling pursuant to
Memorandum Ref. No. 2019-117 dated May 17, 2019 upon the following
considerations:

1. We were informed that we committed a violation against an established

Agency operational policy to wit:

GRAVE VIOLATION

Drinking liquor inside Client premises – you were caught on the cell
phone video at 2000H at BFAR RO2 that you are drinking liquor with
your co-guards. You should abide the rules and regulations of the Agency
and Client that prohibits you to drink liquor inside the client’s premises
and you opt to do it. –xxx-

2. We would like to clarify that we do not intend to wilfully disregard an

established operational policy which we are bound to comply. While we
are regretful that we committed such act, we believe in good faith that
we were not violating any office protocol since we were not on-duty at
that time. Hence, we were acting on our personal capacities and this
Office will not in any way prejudice from acts committed beyond the
regular performance of our duties and responsibilities as security
guards.

3. We personally believe that the act committed was not of severity as we

were not having a drinking spree. The session was only for a short time
and to boost our spirit and mind after a strenuous duty.

4. We also gave our apologies personally to the Regional Director Nelson

Bien who in turn advised us to file a reconsideration on the matter.
Although this matter is internal to our agency, we asked BFAR for their
 kind consideration in retaining our current post considering that we
were assigned in the said office for three (3) years already, and the latter
made no objection thereto.

5. That since the inception of our duties in the said office, we never
incurred any office violations and other infractions that runs contrary
with established office policies;

6. Considering that this is our first time that we were involved in such very
disconcerting incident, it is but equitable that a penalty of reprimand
be rendered in our favour;

7. That the undersigned will undertake under penalty of law, rules and
regulations to prevent the commission of the same including all other
acts that are inimical to the interest of the Agency and its
customers/clients.

WHEREFORE, foregoing premises considered, it is respectfully prayed

unto this Honorable Office that the Notice of Decision for Reshuffling be
cancelled. Other relief, just and equitable are likewise prayed for.
