Protect your ATM card as if it were
cash.
Report lost or stolen cards immediately to UCPB’s ATM Center Hotline at (02)
811-9292 or through the UCPB Connect Internet Banking Facility – “Report Lost
ATM” function.

Never divulge your PIN.
Make sure that your Personal Identification Number (PIN) is hard to guess, and is
not readily attributable to you, such as your birthday or your phone number. Never
write your PIN on your card or keep it in your wallet. Please remember that you
may change your PIN at any time.

Check the area before using an ATM.
If anyone or anything appears
suspicious, leave at once.
UCPB aims to place all our ATMs are in secure, well-lit locations.
However, please make sure to check your surroundings as well during
the time of your transactions.

Do not use ATMs that appear to have
tampered card slots or cash slots.
UCPB has started conducting regular checks in all machines to prevent the installation
of “skimming”* devices by unscrupulous groups.
*Skimming devices are realistic-looking devices attached to the ATM designed to capture your card
information and PIN.

Have your card ready for use.

Cover your hand as you enter your
PIN. Don’t allow anyone to see the
ATM screen during the transaction.

Get your card and transaction slip
at once.
Don’t forget to get your card and never leave your receipt, even with an incomplete
transaction. Shred receipts before discarding them. Better yet, select the “No Receipt”
option and access your bank statement through UCPB’s other e-banking facilities such as
UCPB Connect, UCPB Telebanking and UCPB Mobile Phone Banking.
