Informatica Data Quality HOW TO: Update your Ad

The three requirements above are set in the Content Management Service. The Data Integration Service and Content Management Service must be recycled before any
for PowerCenter and IDQ
changes can take effect. The Developer Tool must also be closed and re-opened. You should also stop the DIS and CMS when updating the reference files (*.MD
files). Although this is not a requirement, it will ensure locks are released.

Refer HOW TO: Configure Address Validation using AddressDoctor for Informatica Data Quality for more details on this.

PowerCenter

The three requirements above are set in the $INFA_HOME/server/bin/AD50.cfg file on each PowerCenter node. Setting changes should take effect after the start of the
next PowerCenter job. The Integration Service can be stopped while updating the reference files as a best practice. Recycling the Integration Service may be required,
if FULL or PARTIAL preloading is used, to refresh the cached *.MD files.

MDM

The three requirements above are set in the SetConfig.xml file present in the following directory:

/infamdm/hub/cleanse/resources/AddressDoctor/5

Refer HOW TO: Configure AddressDoctor 5 in MDM 9.1 and later releases for more details on this.

AddressDoctor Software Library

The three requirements above are set through the SetConfig data accessed by your application. This parameter can be passed through a file called
SetConfig.xml. However, if this does not exist, you need to work with your application team.
