As an indication of my interest in the offered internship for the position of the ICT (Information and
communication technology) assistant manager (AMTP – 03), I’m applying for this training program,
because I believe my leadership, resilience, self-regulation in addition to my technical skills will make
me successfully fulfil your requirements since I am able to work and undertake new challenges
independently in busy environments but also within a team setting.
I am currently a third year ICT student majoring in networking at Bahrain Polytechnic. While
pursuing my bachelor degree I have developed further skills regarding a variety of information
technology aspects such as programming languages, advanced knowledge in networks and end-
devices security, in addition to routing, switching and managing network connections. I have also
succeeded in deploying deployment systems such as Jenkins, Octopus deploy and Ansible. These
technical skills have made me qualified to operate high functional operations on different platforms.
Since my major demands a lot of group work, I have had the opportunity to improve different skills,
such as communication skills, where I have worked with people with different backgrounds and
experiences, Leadership skills, where I have been assigned by my tutors several times to fulfil this
place and had succeeded with leading groups from three to 12 members. In addition, I have developed
my teamwork skills, as most of our projects are based on group work, which has taught me that
negotiating and compromising are the best ways to achieve a successful team. Also, time management
and organizational skills which have helped me with the organization and division of the tasks
between the group members with the capability to complete before the due dates. furthermore, I have
worked in approximately 30 projects in the past three years and have participated in multiple events
for the non-profit organization, Kanyama, which made me skilled in dealing with problems in a
resourceful and critical way.
