Introduction
Hi there! Thank you so much for your purchase of my brand new, extra fancy, stilt instructions!
| would like to make mention of the precautions and features you need to know when wearing the stilts.
I've personally tested these stilts in a convention and haunted attraction environment, and they are easy to
walk, and prow! in once you get used to them! I usually pad the shins with foam, and | also got some
insoles to help with long-term wear, but you do not need them for short term.
The nylon strap is to keep the stilts on your legs with increased movement, but the bungee tension and
shoes should keep them on your feet for casual use.
The bottom of the stilt is equipped with EVA foam for traction and stability when walking on some uneven
surfaces like gravel or old asphalt
These are best suited on flat level surfaces. If you do venture out on new territories, please take a walking
stick! The anatomy I am replicating is from a 4 legged animal. Horses are notorious for not liking rocky
terrain for a reason! Goats have much smaller feet and their hooves flex to accommodate varied terrain.
Imagine a dog trying to walk on two legs up a hill - it just doesn't work! The ankle braces are good for
protecting your ankles, but if you do lose your balance, you will go down!
Stairs are tricky, but not impossible. Make sure there is a hand rail, because the design of the stilt that
creates the fascinating silhouette, also sticks out past your foot. Walking sideways up or down the stairs
works best.
Make sure to watch out for tripping hazards, pot holes, and uneven surfaces that rise up above an inch. If
you would like more mobility, you can eliminate some of the articulation points of the foot.
Keep in mind, based in my policies, I cannot be held liable for injuries based on my product. Please be
careful, and do not be over-confident! Getting used to these stilts is fun and interesting, and the stunning
aesthetics are totally worth it! Your legs will become celebrities!
If you have any more questions or feedback on how to improve my product please do tell me! | can't fix a
problem if no one brings it to my attention.
\cerely,
Blair Ondrla
