M.Sc.IM.Engg. Admission Test Schedule

(April 2019 Semester)

All applicants for admission into the M.Sc.IM.Engg. (EEE) program are hereby informed
that the Board of Postgraduate Studies (BPGS) of the Department of EEE, BUET decided
the following:
1. The M.Sc.IM.Eng. Admission test for April 2019 semester will be held on May 24, 2019
from 10:00 am -11:00 am at ECE building, BUET. The list of eligible candidates for
written examination and detailed seat plan will be published before May 24,2019.
2. The M.Sc.IM.Eng. admission test will cover the following courses as per the
undergraduate curriculum (effective from the Session 2003-04) of the Dept. of EEE,
BUET:
1. Electrical Circuits I
11. Electrical Circuits II
111. Electronics I
IV. Electronics II
v. Energy Conversion I
VI. Energy Conversion II
V11. Engineering Electromagnetics
Vlll. Continuous Signals and Linear Systems
I: Digital Electronics
x. Power Systems I
Xl. Electrical Properties of Materials
xu. Communication Theory
Xlll. Digital Signal Processing I
XIV. Microprocessor and Interfacing
xv. Solid State Devices
xvi. Control System I .•
3. Candidates who have B.Sc. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
(ETE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Telecommunication and
Electronics Engineering (TEE) will be allowed to sit for the admission test, however they
will not be eligible for Electrical Energy and Power Systems (EEPS) division.
