Notice
With reference to the advertisement no. ML/PS/1503-A(17) Dt. 25.10.2018 for engagement of
apprentices in Deendayal Port Trust, category wise list of applications received was published on
Deendayal Port Trust website – www.deendayalport.gov.in on 29.12.2018. The document verification
for 1st Merit list was carried out between 07.01.2019 to 11.01.2019. Now, 2nd Merit list for vacant slots
of apprenticeship is published on Deendayal Port Trust website.

The candidates [as per the 2nd merit list for vacant slots of apprenticeship] will be informed by
e-mail to report for document verification. The candidates will have to report as per the schedule
provided at Annexure 1 with original documents for verification:
1. SSC / Matriculation Mark sheet
2. School Leaving Certificate
3. All ITI / Diploma Engineering / Degree Engineering Certificate & Mark sheets
4. Cast Certificate [SC / ST / OBC (NCL)] (if applicable)
5. Certificate of Physically Handicapped (if applicable)
6. Proof for reservation w.r.t. Ex. Serv. (if applicable)
7. Aadhar card (with matching name as per ITI / Diploma Engineering / Degree Engineering
Certificate)
8. Passport size photo

Offer of engagement will be issued to the candidates having correct / valid documents and they
will have to report for medical test at DPT Hospital, Gopalpuri, Gandhidham (Kutch) and join the
apprenticeship program within 7 days from the issuance of ‘offer of engagement’ subject to passing of
medical test.

The provisional merit list is prepared purely on the basis of details submitted by the applicants.
Merit ranks have been derived on the basis of Percentage [ i.e. ‘Sum of marks obtained’ * 100 ] declared
‘Sum of total marks’
by the applicants. Hence, no representation regarding modification / correction or whatsoever will be
considered.

The candidature will be rejected and next applicant (s) on the merit list will be considered, if the
applicant on the merit list does not remain present & duly prepared on the specific date of reporting for
document verification or the details declared by the candidate while applying is found incorrect / false /
incomplete / repetitive / dummy. Representation of the applicant in above circumstances will not be
entertained / communicated.

DPT is not liable for postal delay / loss or non – receipt of E mail due to incorrect / false / change
of E mail ID (provided in application form) / address etc.

Note:
1. Any canvassing directly / indirectly by the applicant may disqualify his / her candidature.
2. Some applicants have left the fields blank / filled dummy entries, which have been reflected in
merit list as whereas basis. No representation regarding modification / correction will be
considered.
3. No Travelling, Boarding or lodging expenses will be reimbursed to the candidates for
participating in selection process or for joining at place of posting (in case of selection).
