Subject: APPEAL OF DIRECTOR PESHAWAR CAMBRIGE SCHOOL SYSTEM

Dear Sir,
Reference your office letter No.8/AG-I/2019/2392 dated 10-06-2019 on the subject
cited above, it is informed that school named “Peshawar Cambridge School System” opposite
Khazana Sugar Mills, Charsadda Road was reported by field staff for creating issues and instigating
the mob. This information was reported by District N-STOP Officer (District Polio Control Room) in
the Special Situation Report on same day vide no. 1002/DPCR/NSTOP dated 22.04.2019 (F/A).
Later, a formal enquiry was carried out on the directives of Emergency Operations
Center (EOC), which was headed by the Additional Secretary Health Dept. As per findings of the
enquiry committee reported in Para 08 of the report the owner of “Peshawar Cambridge School
UC Khazana” along with other private schools not only ‘threatened the health staff but also
instigated public to damage government property’(F/B). This report recommended that strict
action be taken against the owners of such private schools for creating panic like situation.
The Commissioner Peshawar Division also constituted an Enquiry Committee, which
was headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, and comprising of Health Dept,
Education Dept., and Police Dept. officers. This committee in its Para 06 of findings determined
that “Peshawar Cambridge School UC Khazana” played negative role which create panic in the
public. In the same report, in Para 01 of the recommendations, the enquiry committee
recommended strict action against the owners of such private schools, and cancellation of
registration of such schools. (F/C)
Later on, these enquiry reports were discussed with worthy Chief Secretary Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa, who directed action upon the recommendations, subsequent to which the said
school along with nine others was sealed by the Private School Regulatory Authority, with the
assistance of District Administration.
As of today, no further directions have been received to this office regarding the
subject matter.
