This Crochet Beret pattern is the perfect spring accessory…


the simple V-stitch adds an intriguing rib style pattern…
the top of the hat is shaped by increasing rows creating a gathered appearance.

This Crochet Beret is perfect for everyday wear.

Basic stitches single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet.

Beret is made with Patons 100% Cotton DK, using a 4mm crochet hook.

Simple and quick to make.

Decrease Rnd

Rnd 18: Ch3, 1dc (counts as 1st V-st), *V-st in each V-st
sp, skip 1dc, repeat from * to end, join with sl st into
ch2 of ch3.

Rnd 19-20: Ch3, 1dc (counts as 1st V-st), *V-st in each V-


st sp, repeat from * to end, join with sl st into ch2 of
ch3.

Rib Band

Rnd 21: Ch2, hdc in every st to end, (72hdc) join with sl

Rnd 22: Ch2, * 1hdc/FP, 1hdc in next st, repeat from *


to end, join with sl st.

Rnd 23-24: Repeat Rnd 22 making sure your 1hdc/FP


are lined up so you end up with a “rib” pattern.-
