The purpose of my multimedia product is to show learners how to use an organizer to write a

paragraph. I created a presentation on writing an opinion paragraph by using the OREO opinion

writing method. My target audience is an ELA general education class of students in grades third,

fourth or fifth. I used windows video editor to create my multimedia product. I chose to use windows

video editor for a few reasons: the first reason I chose windows video editor is because it was pre-

loaded on my computer, the second reason is I thought the program was user friendly and easy to

navigate, and the last reason was I downloaded another video editing program and it repeatedly had

technical difficulties and kept shutting down. Because of these reasons Microsoft video editor was a

better choice.

To create my multimedia product first I opened the Microsoft video editor app. Next, I clicked

on the blue new video button then selected new video project from the menu. After clicking on new

video project another page opened and a pop-up box asked me to name the video, I typed the name

in then clicked ok. Under the project library section, I clicked the blue add button then selected from

this PC from the menu. A box popped up asking me to select files from the PC, I clicked on the file

that I wanted to open then clicked open. I clicked the blue add button and completed the same

process for every file I wanted to upload. Next, I checked the box on the files that I wanted to use

then clicked the place in storyboard button. I went to the storyboard section and moved each clip

around until I had them in the order that I wanted them displayed in. I clicked add title card then right

clicked on the title card and selected edit background from the menu, then selected a background

color and clicked done. Then I right clicked on the title card and selected edit text and chose my

animated text style and layout then clicked done. Next, I clicked on each clip individually and

selected trim. When the clip opened in trim, I moved the blue markers to the places in the video that

I wanted to use then pressed done. I repeated the trim step on every file. Then I chose a clip and

selected 3d effects when the clip opened, I selected 3d library then picked the animation I wanted

and adjusted the size on the clip then clicked done. Now the video is ready to be viewed.
 The conceptual framework I used was a flowchart. I decided what my topic would be then I

put together a script. I tried using a storyboard first with cartoons, but I could not put all the

information that I needed in the storyboard. For this reason, I chose a flowchart form with a

script describing what would be going on in the video and who you would see in the video.

Using this flowchart helped me think of how I wanted things in the video ordered and it helped

me include important concepts about writing an opinion paragraph.
