5.2. 2 ALT-8015 Software Update

Perform the following steps to Update ALT-8015 Software via the USB port using a USB memory device*:

1. Using you r PC, o btain the latest so ftware u pdate zip file from Ae ro fl ex.
2. Insert a USB memory devi ce * in to the PC and copy the zi p file to the root directory
of the USB memory device.
3. Unz ip t he f ile o nt o t he r oo t di re c to ry of th e U S B m em or y dev ice .
4. Upo n comple tio n you wi ll have an Aeroflex/Common / di re cto ry that wil l contain a ll
the .rp m files for the u pdate.
5. Safely remove th e USB memory devi ce from th e PC .
6. Power up the ALT - 801 5.
7. On ce booted , sele ct System then select System Update from the dro p down
menu.
