latest creation is a Free Professor Severus Snape Amigurumi pattern! There are also free
pattern available for other Harry Potter characters – , Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron
Weasley, andDumbledore.
I am planning on making a series of these Amigurumi dolls, so if you would like to request a
pattern for a certain character (I’ll do my best!) please let me know by commenting below.

FINISHED SIZE:
Approximately 28 cm (11 inches) tall using DK/Light Worsted Weight yarn and 3 mm
crochet hook.
Approximately 20 cm (8 inches) tall using DK/Light Worsted Weight yarn and 2.75 mm
crochet hook.
You can use any yarn and crochet hook combination that gives you good tension. Normally
this would be a hook at least two sizes smaller than that recommended on the yarn label.
MATERIALS:
Yarn 8 ply/DK or appropriate in flesh, black, and shite. (see note below)
Crochet hook (3 mm or 2.75) or appropriate
Safety eyes (I used 12 mm eyes when using 3 mm hook, and 8 mm eyes when using
2.75 mm hook) (eyes can be embroidered instead)
Five small buttons/beads for buttons on coat.
Stuffing
You can use any yarn and crochet hook combination that gives you good tension. Normally

dec – decrease

sl – slip stitch
dc – double crochet
tr – treble crochet
The numbers in brackets at the end of each round indicate how many stitches you should
have at the end of the round
Arms (make 2)
Using flesh coloured yarn:
Round 5: 8 sl
Round 6: 8 sc blo
Fasten off.
Round 5: 18 sc
Round 8: 11 sc blo
If you are not already at the side of leg with foot facing forward, sc until there. Chain 1
stitch.
Body
Round 1: 11 sc around leg that you fastened off (so legs are then attached to each other),
1 sc in ch, 11 sc around second leg, 1 sc in ch (24)
Round 12: 8 sc around arm, 10 sc on body, 8 sc around other arm, 10 sc on body (36)
Round 15: 12 sl
Round 17: 12 sl
Place safety eyes between rounds 24 and 25, making sure they are centre on face and 8
stitches apart.

Round 32: (3 sc, 1 dec) x 6 (24)
Fasten off, gather around fasten off stitches and pull tight to close hole at top of head.
Hair
Using black coloured yarn:
Round 9: 48 sc
Fasten off. Pin hair to head and then sew into place.
Cloak:
Main body of cloak:
Row 1: 21 ch
Row 3-24: 1 ch, starting in second chain from hook 20 sc (22 rows)
Row 25: 1 ch, 2 sc, 6 ch, skip 3 stitches, 40 sc, 6 ch, skip 3 stitches, 2 sc (26)

Row 26: 26 sc
Fasten off.
Coat Tails
Find centre of body at front, 2 rows above where legs join, and move one stitch to the side.
Row 1: Working around posts, 21 sc around body. Rows 2-8: Turn, 1 ch, 21 sc (7 rows).
Fasten off.
