The understandings discussed in the (previous) Section
2.3.16 are learned from inscriptions or recalled; that is, if
T is an analogy relating R and S, then R may be understood and
S understood and T learned; or, given an understanding of T
and R, topic S may be learned; or, given an understanding of
T and S, topic R may be learned. Although several (two or more)
perspectives might be involved, there is no necessity that they
are involved. However, in order to create or construct the
analogy (and inscribe it as an analogical topic, T) at least,
two perspectives are mandatoty (perhaps as a transient
condition) and, as a result of the argument in Section 2.3.10,
at least two a priori independent universes.
