Final task

1. Describe your teacher colleague in term of his/her physical and mental appearance.
My best colleague teacher

Her name is Mathilda Banoet. She was born in Kapan, 16th 1962. She was my best English
teacher when I was in Junior high school. She is a kind-hearted, smart, and great teacher. She
never complained when guide us. Her physical appearance is tall, slim and has short hair.
When she taught English, I always imagine that I want to be like her someday. After the years
passed, I become an English teacher. I returned to teach English with her. She is a good friend
and leader. She always taught me how to be a good teacher like her did.
2. The historical recount of the school where I am currently teaching.

The historical of the establishment of SMP Negeri 1 Mollo Utara

SMP Negeri 1 Mollo Utara is a school that located in Kapan, Mollo Utara sub-district, Timor
Tengah Selatan district in East Nusa Tenggara Province. This school was built in Kapan on Juli,
18th 1983 on 2 ha area when the land was given from the villager and the building was help
from the government. This school was the first public school in the Kapan under the name
SMP Negeri 1.Kapan .

The first leader was (alm)Mrs. Sabuna Mauboy from 1383-2000,then lead by Mr. Johanis
Tanaem S.Pd from 2000-2008 Mr. Anderias Tefnay S.Pd from 2008-2016 and Mr. Tau Nepa A.
Silla from 2016 till now on(2019). This should have passed thousand of alumni who have
spread in various direction. Someone them work in several government officers, become
teachers at school, and work in some companies.

This school has teacher as an adequate teaching staff and school administration. Contains of
18 civil servant teachers, 18 non civil servant teachers and 4staff.

In teaching and learning activities, school also has extracurricular activities that can developed
the talents of students. The extracurricular activities are, Scouts, Volley ball, foot ball,
traditional dance, band, vocal group and weaving traditional clothes .

I think SMP Negeri 1 Mollo Utara is good school as good as other schools and will be one of
the parents’ choice to send their children to study at the school.
