    In the exigency of the service, a memorandum was issued and signed by our DOLE Regional Director,
    directing for a selected number of employees to attend the training on March 15-16, 2017 in Tacloban
    City and another conference on March 17, 2017.

    As much as I would like to attend the class, the memorandum mandates for the employees to
    participate. Being the selected attendee, I would like to humbly ask to be excused from attending our
    classes this week to comply with such directives.

    Rest assured that I will try to cope with the missed lessons in preparation for our examinations and
    recitations.

    I am sincerely hoping for your positive consideration on this matter.
