safe. Secondly, it causes them to respect the countryside and its inhabitants more.

Landowners’ behaviour is affected as they are respected more. They are more likely to let
people cross their land as their property is respected more.

them.
 Monitor how often your group decides to take a break (lunch excluded) and investigate how
that changes throughout the expedition.
 Investigate the amount of human activity (e.g. buildings, litter, roads) seen on the expedition.
