SPIRITUAL PLACES UNDER HIS REIGN
NB: In order to have a proper understanding of this teaching, you should first
study our teachings on Demonic Soul Copies (DSC’s) Levels 1 and 2 that are
available for free on our webpage (www.ignitedinchrist.org). Without this prior
knowledge and understanding of the concept of DSC’s, you may find it difficult
(if not impossible) to grasp and understand this teaching.
1. INTRODUCTION
We agree with many believers in Jesus Christ that we are currently living in a
time when God is pouring out treasures of wisdom (Colossians 2: 2-3). This
current apostolic and prophetic era is bringing us new dimensions of Jesus’
light. The Scriptures are being understood with far greater clarity and there is
an unprecedented revelation of the power and manifestation of the Kingdom of
God.
Our Lord Jesus Christ says in Isaiah 45: 2-3: “I will go before you and make
the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut
the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of
secret places that you may know that I, the Lord, who called you by your name,
am the God of Israel.”
Jesus said to His disciples just before He ascended to Heaven: “I still have
many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.” (John 16:12). When

Jesus ascended into Heaven, He could not tell His disciples all that He would
have liked to share. However, He gave the promise of the Holy Spirit that would
come to teach us all things and to help us understand what Jesus said. God
reveals truth to those that seek revelation from Him: “… eye has not seen, nor
ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has
prepared for those who love Him.” (1 Cor. 2: 9)
Our Lord Jesus Christ therefore has things in store for us that have not yet been
revealed to other generations. He makes us (His Body on earth) grow from
glory to glory and from light to light. The teachings that are going out today
from God’s true apostles and prophets, would never have been digested by the
Body of Christ hundred years ago….. We are however now ready to receive
these revelations, since the Holy Spirit has prepared us …….
Ana Méndez-Ferrell says in her book “Regions of captivity”1: “Jesus released
many captives from their spiritual prisons through the Holy Spirit. He did it by
seeing and hearing what the Father did, through understanding the spiritual
world. The Lord desires to empower us with the fullness of the knowledge of
His Kingdom.”
She further says2: “Freedom from captivity was one of the most important parts
of Jesus’ suffering and victory through His death and resurrection. Jesus
descended to the lowest parts of the earth to take our captivity away from the
devil.”
Millions of Christians cannot find their breakthrough when it comes to the areas
of health, character, finances and even spiritually. One day they are at their
peak, the next day they are in the valley... This is so because Jesus’ victory
over captivity is almost an unknown subject in the denominational Church.3
2. HOW WE WERE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT TO DISCOVER THIS
2.1 The book “Regions of Captivity”
It (the receiving of this new revelation from the Holy Spirit) started with the book
“Regions of captivity” of Dr. Ana Méndez-Ferrell. A friend of our ministry gave
us this book to read a while ago. We started to read the book but could not
finish it at that stage due to the fact that many things that Méndez-Ferrell wrote
about, we found just too weird to accept. For one, Ana Méndez-Ferrell says in
her book that the souls of people may be held captive in spiritual places under
the reign of Satan. Now, how is that possible, if the soul dimension of the
person is in his/her body? Secondly, she says that she prophetically enters the
spiritual place to rescue that soul. That, to us, was unthinkable since we did
not believe that we could enter the spirit realm and actually go to a spiritual

place (under the reign of Satan)! It sounded really too weird for us to “stomach”
at that stage and therefore, being very sober and vigilant (!), we laid the book
aside and did not finish reading it.
We were meanwhile praying for new revelation and spiritual keys from God in
order to “set the captives free” (i.e. for believers in Jesus Christ to receive inner
healing and deliverance).
A while after the book was introduced to our ministry (but temporarily discarded
by us in the fear of being deceived) someone that is close to our ministry spoke
to us and said that she has actually practiced what Ana Méndez-Ferrell teaches
in her book and, with great results! Since this person is someone whose opinion
we value and trust as a sister in Jesus Christ, the thought stayed with us.
2.2 Experimenting in ministry (under the guidance of the Holy Spirit)
Soon thereafter, we ministered to someone when the Holy Spirit prompted us

to experiment and test whether what Ana Méndez-Ferrell says is the truth. We
remember that evening and the particular ministry session very well. When the
Holy Spirit prompted us to test whether there was a demonic soul copy of the
person (that we were ministering to) in a spiritual place under the reign of Satan,
we reluctantly said: “OK Jesus, but you will have to help and guide us because
we really do not know what we are about to do, but we will trust you and follow
your leading.” We prayed the blood of Jesus over the team (for protection) and
then proceeded to ask the Lord to take us, through the power of the Holy Spirit,
into the spiritual place of captivity where the demonic soul copy (DSC) of this
person was held captive.
Low and behold!! There was indeed a DSC of the person we were ministering
to in this place of captivity and the Lord helped us to rescue this soul copy and
to bring it out of the spiritual place of captivity and into God’s Light! We asked
our Lord Jesus to give healing and restoration to the DSC and thereafter asked
him to take it away. We were absolutely astounded by the wonder of what had
happened!! We then knew (beyond all doubt) that this spiritual concept really
exists and that there may therefore be demonic copies of the soul dimensions
of living people that are held captive by Satan in spiritual places under his reign.
2.3 Further teaching and guidance by the Holy Spirit
However, the next morning one of our team members (who took the lead in the
ministry session) was feeling very ill (nauseous, tired (spiritually,
psychologically and physically) and almost depressed). She prayed over it and
asked the Lord was was going on and why she felt so terrible. The Lord Jesus
Christ, through His Holy Spirit, then revealed to her that it did not please Him
that she and her fellow team member entered the spiritual realm (and in
particular spiritual places of death and destruction) and that the illness was the
effect of the spiritual experience on her body, soul and spirit. She repented for

entering the spiritual realm (without a mandate from Jesus) and asked for
forgiveness and that our Lord Jesus would wash her clean with His blood. She,
almost immediately, felt better and realised that, although it honoured Jesus
that we were obedient in setting the captives free, He did not want us to go into
the spiritual places ourselves (without His specific mandate). The Lord, through
His Holy Spirit, then clearly gave the direction that it is not necessary for us to
enter the spiritual realm and that we could merely ask His holy warring angels
to go in and to rescue the captive.
Please note that we did not astral travel. We know that it is against God’s
will and is empowered by demonic forces. We simply asked Jesus to help us
enter the spirit realm to rescue the captive from its prison.
Since then, we have started to test for this spiritual phenomenon in ministry
sessions with people and we have found more and more spiritual captives and
they were all set free! Thank you Lord Jesus and to You, precious Holy Spirit,
for the revelation and this additional spiritual key in order to set the captives
free!
3. HEAVENLY AND INFERNAL PLACES
We all know by now that in the spiritual world there are two opposing kingdoms:
The Kingdom of Light (under God’s reign) and the kingdom of darkness (under
the reign of Satan).
Just as there are heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6) there are also places or
regions of darkness, which may be called infernal places. Not all of these
infernal places are tied to hell, which is the final destiny of the lost.
The kingdom of darkness is formed of thousands and millions of prisons where
Satan holds the human race captive. Isaiah 42: 7: “… to open blind eyes, to
bring out prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness from the prison
house.” Hebrews 2:15: “… and release those who through fear of death were
all their lifetime subject to bondage.”
In Luke 16 verses 19 to 31 we read about the rich man and Lazarus. We read
that the rich man (after having died and being buried) found himself in torment
in Hades. Hades is the abode of the dead4. Perry Stone5 says that this rich
man was now an eternal prisoner in a land of departed souls. Lazarus, the
beggar, on the other hand found himself “in the bosom of Abraham”. The
“bosom of Abraham” suggests the honoured place in Paradise6.
We agree with Méndez-Ferrell when she says7 that places of spiritual captivity
are strictly spiritual places controlled by the hosts of Satan (i.e. demons).

Willpower is not enough to free souls from these places. We need God’s
authority to move against the forces of darkness.
There is a place called Tartarus that is the deepest prison of hell (where the
fallen angels dwell, according to the Epistle of Jude).
Méndez-Ferrell refers in her book8 to the fact that in each region of captivity,
there are prisons, pits and turbid currents of muddy waters.
We agree with Méndez-Ferrell where she says9 that to think of the spiritual
world only in strict terms of Heaven and Hell is a very limited perception. She
continues to say that the region of death has two parts, one is the dwelling of
the dead, and the second is the place of oppression used to torment the
captured souls. According to her, it is from this place that Satan releases
sickness, disease and death.
It is said that Hitler found his inspiration during the 2nd World War from the actual
spiritual places where his own soul were being held captive and was being
tormented by the demons. Hitler’s goal was to burn 6 666 000 Jews and
Christians10. This altar was built in Auschwitz, Poland. We agree with Ana
Méndez-Ferrell when she says that Adolf Hitler had more in mind than simply
killing the Jewish people. If that had been his only objective, he would have
bombed the ghettos where he held them prisoner. Why transport all of them to
one place? Why feed and hold them captive? Why spend money and energy
building camps with bedrooms, gas chambers and crematories, if the only
objective was to kill them? The plan was indeed more diabolical. He needed
to reproduce the pain of hell with its sound of agony and despair. He wanted
to recreate the different levels of prisons and dungeons that existed in Sheol.
4. QUICK RECAP: WHAT IS A DEMONIC SOUL COPY?
A demonic soul copy (DSC) is exactly what the name says.
It is –
 A copy
 Of the complete
 Soul dimension (i.e. personality)
 Of a human being (either still alive or already deceased)
 Made by demonic forces (i.e. by way of witchcraft)
 That is then placed into another living person (or held captive in a
spiritual place under the reign of Satan)
 In order to further Satan’s Kingdom and purposes in that living person in
whom the DSC was placed (e.g. the strengthening of a blood line curse,

any particular sin, infirmity etc.) or to further Satan’s Kingdom in the

person whose soul dimension was copied and is now being held captive
in a spiritual place under the reign of Satan.
If we then refer to “captives” in the context of this teaching, we mean “captive

DSC’s” since the Lord has shown us that it is a copy of the complete soul
dimension of the living person that is being held captive by Satan and his
demons in a spiritual place under his reign.
It is assumed by us that every reader of this document thoroughly understands

the concept of DSC’s. If not, it is highly recommended that you stop reading
this teaching and first refer to our teachings on Demonic Soul Copies Levels 1
and 2, that are freely available on our website11 under “free publications”.
5. NB, NB, NB: WE ARE NOT CALLING UP SPIRITS FROM THE DEAD!!!!
It is extremely important that believers in Jesus Christ should understand and

remember that if we work with a DSC, we are not working with a demon (evil
spirit) and we are also not working with a human spirit. It is a soul copy that
has been created by Satan and his demons through witchcraft. It is therefore
the soul dimension (i.e. personality) of a human being that we are working with,
but then also not the true or original soul dimension but a mere demonic copy.
We therefore want to say outright and at the beginning of this teaching to

anybody who wants to accuse us of calling up spirits, that they do not properly
understand the various spiritual concepts relating to DSC’s and have therefore
allowed the enemy to create confusion and deception in them.
We know and appreciate that our Lord Jesus says in His Word12 that we may
have no association with the dead and that it is an abomination to God if we
should consult spirits of deceased people. This is not what we do.
We pray that people who are being deceived by the enemy to think that we are
calling up human spirits (or even original souls) from the dead, would be pulled
out from their confusion and deception by the Holy Spirit so that they also may
receive the blessing of this teaching and be set free from captivity, in Jesus
Christ our Saviour!
6. BIBLICAL REFERENCES TO CAPTIVES AND PLACES OF SPIRITUAL
CAPTIVITY
The first thing that believers in Jesus Christ always ask when being confronted
with new revelation is: “Where is it in the Bible?” This is the correct approach
since we have to be very careful of deception (and false teachings) in our day

and age. Jesus Himself said that in the last days there would be widespread
deception and that even the very elect would be deceived (Matthew 24:24).
Join us therefore when we seek fresh revelation from the Word of God. We, as
reborn believers in Jesus Christ, know that the veil was torn when Jesus died
and was resurrected from the dead. We may therefore now seek true spiritual
revelation from our Lord Jesus. Only He, through the Holy Spirit, can reveal
the true meaning of Scripture to us.
6.1 End time revelation
In Daniel 12:4 our Lord Jesus says (as part of a prophecy of the End Time):
“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end;
many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
Our Lord Jesus therefore makes it very clear through His prophet Daniel that
during the time of the end, new revelation will come through the Holy Spirit to
those who seek it in order for the Bride of Jesus Christ to be prepared for His
second coming.
6.2 Captives and spiritual places of captivity
Our Lord Jesus said by way of His prophet in Isaiah 61: 1: “The Spirit of the
Lord God is upon Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal
the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the
prison to those who are bound.”
We agree with Méndez-Ferrell where she says13 that the captivities and prisons
to which this passage refers are not physical, but spiritual. God does not set
criminals free who have been sentenced to jail. The Kingdom of God respects
order and worldly authority.
David says in Psalm 86 verse 13 that God has delivered his soul from the
depths of Sheol. He also says in Psalm 69 verse 15: “And let not the pit shut
its mouth on me.”
The psalmist says in Psalm 88:6 that God has laid him in the lowest pit and that
he is in darkness and in the depths.
In Psalm 102 verses 19 and 20 the psalmist cries out to the Lord and the Lord
says that He is looking down from His sanctuary (Heaven) and that he “hears
the groaning of the prisoner(s)” and that he wants to “release those appointed
to death”.
In Psalm 107 the psalmist says in verse 10: “Those who sit in darkness and in
the shadow of death, bound in affliction and irons” and in verse 14: “He brought
them out of darkness and the shadow of death and broke their chains in pieces.”

Verse 16 states: “For He has broken the gates of bronze and cut the bars of
iron in two.”
In Psalm 142:7 David says: “Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise Your
name”. He says further: “For the enemy has persecuted my soul; He has
crushed my life to the ground; He has made me dwell in darkness, like those
who have long been dead.” (Psalm 143: 3).
Psalm 146: 7: “Who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the
hungry. The Lord gives freedom to the prisoners.”
Many people are being oppressed by the enemy in their soul dimensions in
various ways (e.g. depression, anxiety, unforgiveness etc.) but this oppression
may even have a deeper dimension in that the soul dimensions of people may
actually be in captivity to Satan at a level that could not have been contemplated
yet when Jesus was on earth and when the books of the Bible were written.
The prophet Jeremiah already prophesied more than 2 000 years ago that “the
Lord’s flock will be taken captive” (Jeremiah 13: 15-17). Again, since the Bible
is a book for all generations and today remains just as valid and powerful than
2 000 years ago, the “captivity” that Jeremiah was referring to here could also
have a deeper dimension that perhaps even he himself did not contemplate
when the words were spoken.
6.3 Capturing of souls (as birds in the net of a bird catcher)
In Psalm 91:3 our Lord Jesus says that He will “deliver us from the snare of the
fowler”. This is similar to what Ezekiel describes in chapter 13 verses 18 to 20
namely: “Thus says the Lord God: Woe to the women who sew magic charms
on their sleeves and make veils for the heads of people of every height to hunt
souls! Will you hunt the souls of My people and keep yourselves alive?
And will you profane Me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces
of bread, killing people who should not die, and keeping people alive who
should not live, by your lying to My people who listen to lies?
Therefore this says the Lord God: Behold, I am against your magic charms by
which you hunt souls there like birds. I will tear them from your arms and let
the souls go, the souls you hunt like birds.”
6.4 Our great commission (calling) in Jesus Christ

In Isaiah 42 verse 7 our Lord Jesus Christ says that he has called us to “open
blind eyes, to bring prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness from
the prison house.”
Our Lord says in Isaiah 49: 9: “That you may say to the prisoners, “Go forth”,
to those who are in darkness, “Show yourselves”.”

Isaiah 58:6: “is this not the fast that I have chosen: To lose the bonds of
wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that
you break every yoke?”
7. KNOWN SPIRITUAL PLACES OF CAPTIVITY AND THE EFFECT ON THE

LIVING PERSON
We learn from the Holy Spirit every day and our Lord Jesus Christ continues to
reveal new information about the spiritual realm (and the strategies of the
enemy to keep God’s people in bondage) as we are writing this teaching….
We have learned that there are parts of hell that serve as places where captive
souls (of the living and the dead) are being kept by Satan and his demons.
Some of these souls are the real souls of the unsaved dead and others are
mere demonic soul copies (DSC’s) of people that are still alive or already
deceased.
7.1 Places that have, so far, been revealed to us (by the Holy Spirit)
We have, so far, through ministering to fellow believers, found there to be the

following spiritual places of captivity under Satan’s reign:

We have found many DSC’s of people who (after Extreme rejection,
having been set free by Jesus) told us that they were loneliness, sadness

could not see or experience the existence of anybody

We read in the Bible of these “dry places” namely in
Matthew 12: 43: “When an unclean spirit goes out of
a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest and
finds none.” (Also Luke 11:24.)
Land of forgetfulness
A place of extreme loneliness, sadness, abandonment Sadness,

that they were in a spiritual place where there is
constant war but they never obtain victory.
Other DSC’s that we have found of the people that we
ministered to told us that they were held captive in a
place of bloodlust, violence and war. They told us that
the demons in that spiritual place tortured them by
dipping their heads constantly in a pool of blood.
There is also a constant smell of rotten human flesh in
that place.
The main demon that apparently holds guard to this
spiritual place is Abaddon14.
Places of constant pain and torture (trauma)
These DSC’s were held captive in a place where they Unable to obtain

Deep, dark and slimy pit

The DSC of a man that we ministered to (after being Depression,
set free by Jesus) said that he came from a deep dark hopelessness,

said that he was constantly being tormented by anxiety etc.

neck at birth) said, after being rescued by Jesus, that
the place where they were held captive was dark and
slimy and they felt as if they suffocated.
Psalm 69:2: “I sink in deep mire where there is no
standing: I have come into deep waters, where the
floods overflow me.”
Psalm 69:15: “… and let not the pit shut its mouth on
me.”
Isaiah 24:22: ”… As prisoners are gathered in the pit,
and will be shut up in the prison…”
Psalm 40:2: “He also brought me up out of a horrible
pit, out of the miry clay…”
Lamentations 3: 53 & 55: “They silenced my life in the
pit and threw stones at me… I called on Your name, O
Lord, from the lowest pit.”
Places of extreme sexual immorality
Some of these DSC’s told us that they came from a Sexual immorality –
place where they were sexually molested and even unworthiness and
raped by the demons. They testified that this sexual rejection as well as
torture was an ongoing process and that it never a feeling of being
stopped. Usually demons such as Asmodee reign dirty in the real

7.2 Other spiritual places identified by Ana Méndez-Ferrell
Ana Méndez-Ferrell writes that there are (in addition to those that we have listed
above) also spiritual places of fear, of homo-sexuality, of pain, covenant
chambers (occult) and places of depression.
This makes perfect sense to us. Actually it makes sense that there would be a
spiritual place under the reign of Satan for each type of human captivity in order
for Satan to keep the human race in every kind of bondage.
8. WHAT IS THE ENEMY’S AIM WITH THESE PRISONERS?
Ana Méndez-Ferrell says17 that the goal of the devil’s empire is to take
prisoners, to subjugate them, to oppress them, to rob them of every gift of God
and, finally, to destroy them. Satan uses slavery to cut the wings of the spirit
with which we soar to the heights of God.

We minister daily to believers in Jesus Christ by way of prayer so as to free

them of every kind of bondage. In our experience, Satan wants to keep the
human race captive, in the first place so that, because of their sin and
unholiness, they may not “see” God (get the revelation of His love and what He
has done for them on the cross) and, secondly, if they have seen God and has
accepted His saving grace, to then keep them in chains and therefore
powerless for His Kingdom on earth.
We sense that the enemy thought that human kind would never discover this
spiritual phenomenon and thought that he would be able to keep the souls of
men captive in this way. All glory and honour to our Father in Heaven, Jesus
Christ His son and the precious Holy Spirit for this end-time revelation for the
Bride of Christ!!
9. WHAT GIVES THE ENEMY THE RIGHT TO TAKE THE SOULS OF MEN
CAPTIVE?
9.1 Sin
The root cause of all evil in the world is sin and man’s choice to commit sin. Sin
is essentially rebellion against God and each time that we freely choose to sin,
we actually reject God in that area of our lives and enters into agreement with
Satan18. This already started thousands of years ago in the Garden of Eden
when Eve chose to sin and Adam also chose to follow.
If one therefore understands that sin is disagreement with God and agreement
with Satan, then it follows that in the spiritual realm, Satan will have certain
rights over a person due to the unrepented sin in his/her life.
It appears to us that certain unconfessed and unrepented sin gives the enemy
the right to hold DSC’s of that person captive. We are not yet quite sure which
sins would give the enemy such a right and if the captive DSC’s would
automatically be released by the enemy from their place of captivity when the
person confesses and sincerely repents of that particular sin.
What we however do know at this stage, is that the shedding of innocent blood
(e.g. murder and abortion) would definitely give the enemy these rights.
Another example would be wilful rebellion against God, for example cursing
God. Yet another example would be acts of extreme sexual immorality and
perversion such as sodomisation and rape.
We trust our Lord Jesus Christ for more revelation in this area in the future and
Warriors of Jesus (that are active in the calling of setting the captives free) are
being encouraged to experiment (under the guidance of the Holy Spirit) and to
find out…

9.2 Unforgiveness and bitterness
We have not yet found an example of this in ministry but Ana-Méndez Ferrell
writes in her book that the enemy may have the right to take captive a DSC of
someone who does not want to forgive, based on the following Scripture (a
parable that Jesus told):
Matthew 18: 34 & 35: “And his master was angry and delivered him to the
torturers until he should pay all that was due to him. So My heavenly Father
also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his
trespasses.”
9.3 Blood line curses
In this regard, readers of this teaching are referred to our complete teaching on
blood line curses called “Enemy within - Blood line curses” (that is freely
available on our webpage). It will help readers to gain a more complete
understanding of how believers in Jesus Christ may still be subject to blood line
curses and what its effect is on a believer.
We have, so far, found captive DSC’s due to the following blood line curses but
obviously this list is not comprehensive and there may be many other types of
sin that were committed by the ancestors that gave the enemy the right to hold
“prisoners of war”:
 Bloodlust, murder, violence, war

We have found that DSC’s of living people are often held captive by the
enemy due to blood thirst and murder of innocent people by their
ancestors. War and violence in the lives of the ancestors apparently has
the same spiritual consequence. Abortion is nothing other than murder
of one’s own offspring (i.e. a child sacrifice to Satan) and therefore this
type of sin by the ancestors will also result in prisoners (DSC’s) being
taken captive of the descendants based on the blood line curse of
murder and child sacrifice. Suicide and even so-called “euthanasia” is
also nothing other than murder and will therefore have the same spiritual
consequences in the bloodlines.
 Witchcraft
If your ancestors were in witchcraft or any form of the occult, this blood
line curse would also give the enemy the right to keep DSC’s of you and
your children captive in a spiritual place under his reign. This is due to
the fact that the ancestors may have sold their souls (as well as the souls
of their descendants) to Satan in order to gain power. Curses may also
have been spoken over your ancestors (and their descendants) and they
may even have sacrificed their descendants in the spirit to Satan. All of
this has the effect of a spiritual barter transaction: Your soul (and the

souls of your descendants) in exchange for favour and power in Satan’s

kingdom.
 False religion/idolatry e.g. sun god worship (NB)
Any type of false religion or idolatry that took place in the lives of the
ancestors and was unrepented for creates a blood line curse affecting
the descendants. We however found that especially sun god worship,
coupled with the sacrificing of babies, creates very strong blood line
curses over the descendants. Based on these blood line curses and the
abomination unto God that it created, the enemy also appears to have
obtained the right to create DSC’s of the ancestors themselves but also
of the living descendants and to keep them captive in spiritual places
where the sun god Rah (or Rahab) as well as Baal or Molech reigns.
We have found in many sessions with people that several DSC’s of

people (often hundreds or even thousands of them) are being set free
from spiritual places under the reign of Athaliah (DSC of Queen Athaliah
from the Bible) and Baal as soon as the curse of Athaliah (traditionally
seen as the curse of Jezebel and Ahab)19 has been broken and we then
ask Jesus to set the captives free!
 Freemasonry – the Lewis curse
Freemasonry (and for that matter all the secret organisations such as
the Jesuits, the Knights Templars, the Rosicrucian’s, the Broederbond,
the Ossewabrandwag etc.) creates very strong blood line curses. One
will therefore often find that DSC’s are being held captive in a spiritual
place under the reign of Satan based on the ancestors’ involvement in
these organisations.
The Lewis curse is then also a particularly strong curse that works
through Freemasonry and often brings poverty, various infirmities,
barrenness, divorce etc. into a bloodline. Warriors of Jesus should
therefore remember to test for DSC’s that are being held captive in a
spiritual place under the reign of Satan, after they have broken the curse
of Freemasonry as well as the Lewis curse.
 Various infirmities
Sometimes a specific infirmity runs in a family bloodline, resulting in a

bloodline curse. This could be anything e.g. asthma, chronic lung
disease, breast cancer, sugar diabetes, arthritis, thrombosis, heart

diseases etc. Things like depression, anxiety, Parkinson’s, Altzheimer

etc. can also become a curse that is carried to the descendants through
the bloodlines. We have often found that, as soon as the bloodline curse
is cancelled in the womb, one may request for the release of the
prisoners only to find that the captive DSC’s suffered from the same
infirmities. The effect of these captive DSC’s on the real living person
is to prevent his or her physical healing, irrespective of prayer.
 Extreme sexual immorality and perversity
Our God sees sin against one’s own body (that is a temple of the Holy
Spirit) in a very serious light.
We have often found DSC’s of people in spiritual places of extreme

sexual immorality due to the fact that their ancestors were involved in
sexual immorality or perverse sexual acts.
In this regard, one should remember that witchcraft and sun god worship
is usually closely associated with extreme sexual perversity and rituals
of sexual immorality. We should therefore remember to test for these
DSC’s that may be held captive in a spiritual place, as soon as it
becomes evident that there was a blood line curse of Witchcraft,
Satanism and/or Sun God worship and even Freemasonry.
It is a well-known fact that sodomisation is part of Freemasonry at the

higher levels and that high-ranking Freemasons usually arrange rituals
of sexual immorality to be done on their sons (at a very young age) in
order to initiate them into the cult and often also to make them dissociate
(form DID20 parts).
We heard from DSC’s that were held captive based on extreme sexual
immorality in the ancestors, that the place where they were being held
captive is a place where the demons torture them constantly by raping
or sexually molesting them.
 Sexual intercourse with demons (seed of the Nephilim)

This happened often in the time of Noah but also thereafter (Genesis
6:4) and it is from sexual intercourse with high ranking demons that the
Nephilim had its origin.
We know that the “seed of the Nephilim” is a very strong blood line curse
in the human race and that it appears to give Satan and his demons very
strong rights over a blood line. It therefore goes without saying that there

would be numerous DSC’s of people (that are being held captive in

spiritual places under the reign of Satan) based on this curse.
 Spiritual trading – Mammon (selling of one’s soul for money, status,

power etc.)
The previous generation of people used to say that “you should not sell
your soul to the devil” by doing something really bad! We, at the time,
did not know how valid and true this statement actually is…. For
example, if someone should become a Freemason and (as part of the
rituals that are necessary to take them from the one degree to the next)
swear allegiance to Satan in order to gain fortune, power, influence and
money, he or she has (knowingly or unknowingly) sold his/her soul to the
devil in that area. A trade-off then takes place in the spirit: “Your soul
(sometimes also those of the descendants) in return for money, fame
and fortune”.
This is also exactly what happens when artists, singers etc. become
members of the Illuminati in order for them to become famous and
successful and to earn good money.
Therefore, one may expect to find DSC’s that are held captive in a
spiritual place under the reign and control of the demon Mammon (and
Lucifer), when these type of blood line curses have been broken.
 Rebellion against God, pride, deliberate and wilful disobedience of God
We have found DSC’s that were held captive based on and due to the
rebellion and pride of their ancestors. They witnessed that, in the
spiritual place where they were held captive, they were constantly
humiliated in various ways by the demons.
 The mark of Cain
We have already found in ministry that people who had the spiritual mark
of Cain on them (by way of the bloodline curse of the mark of Cain) often
also had DSC’s of themselves that were kept captive somewhere in a
spiritual place under the reign of Satan and that these DSC’s also had
the spiritual mark of Cain on them, which we had to cancel with the blood
of Jesus, before they could be freed and taken away by Jesus.
The above is only a couple of blood line curses that we have so far experienced
may give rise to captive DSC’s in spiritual places under Satan’s reign. We are
however still learning and therefore there may be many more blood line curses

that may also give rise to this phenomenon and therefore we encourage
spiritual Warriors of Jesus to experiment and find out!
It is also important to take note of the fact that these captive DSC’s will not
necessarily and automatically be released from their spiritual place of captivity
when the blood line curse is cancelled. We have to, as instruments in the hands
of our Lord Jesus, take action and “set the captives free” by prayer and by
asking Jesus to send in His warring angels to free them from their spiritual
prisons.
9.4 Emotional blow, trauma, broken heart, emotional pain etc.
We already know that trauma, emotional pain, rejection, fear and shock
etcetera may be the cause for the enemy to make a DSC of the person him- or
herself and to put this DSC back into the person. We call this spiritual
phenomenon a “hurt inner adult” (HIA) or a “hurt inner child” (HIC).21 The
purpose of the enemy with this HIA or HIC is then usually to keep the trauma,
hurt and/or rejection captured in the person, irrespective of the fact that he/she
has prayed over it and has forgiven the people who have hurt them. This HIA
or HIC should then also be dealt with spiritually so that Jesus (by the power of
His Holy Spirit) may take the HIA or HIC away.
However, it appears that in extreme cases of emotional hurt, rejection and

trauma, the enemy may (in addition to the HIC or HIA) also take captive one or
more DSC’s of the traumatised or hurt person’s soul dimension and keep them
captive as prisoners somewhere in the spiritual realm where demons of trauma,
rejection, hopelessness and brokenness torture them continuously so as to
keep the hurt feelings and emotions alive in the real living person.
The soul dimension of a little baby may, for example, also be copied and taken
captive by the enemy based upon the trauma when the parents attempted or
contemplated an abortion.
9.5 Umbilical cord around the baby’s neck at birth
We have recently ministered to a man who said that he had the umbilical cord
around his neck at birth. We knew already at that stage that where the umbilical
cord is around a baby’s neck, it is usually a sign that the child was born with a
serious spiritual blood line related bondage (from either the mother or the
father’s side of the blood line or both). We therefore prayed that Jesus should
take the man back (in the spirit) to the time of his birth and then we removed
(spiritually) the umbilical cord from his neck. He immediately felt relief in that
he experienced that something was indeed removed from around his neck.
The Holy Spirit then prompted us to test for DSC’s of the man that were being
held captive in the spiritual realm under Satan’s reign due to the fact that the

umbilical cord was around the neck. This is a perfect example of the fact that
we should believe and operate as children since, if we should have used our
own human intellect to judge the situation, we would probably have decided
that it is ridiculous and would not have tested for these DSC’s.
We were however blindly obedient to the Holy Spirit and therefore asked
whether there are any DSC’s of this man that are being held captive in the
spiritual realm under Satan’s reign due to the fact that he had the umbilical cord
around his neck. Our obedience was rewarded when a couple of DSC’s were
rescued by Jesus from the deep, dark and slimy pit that they were in. The
DSC’s said that their effect on the real living person was to keep him in a state
of fear for literally everything but, most importantly, of other people (fear of
man). They said that they themselves struggled to breath in the slimy pit and
felt constantly as if they suffocated.
Jesus washed all these DSC’s clean with His blood and took them away!
9.6 Use of drugs and other addictive substances
It appears that the use of drugs opens a door to give access to demons of Mind-
control (as well as Lucifer and Kundalini) to copy the soul dimension of the
person using the drugs and to keep these copies captive in a spiritual place
under the control of the main demons that work with drugs i.e. Lucifer,
Kundalini, Mind-Control, Addiction etcetera.
This may explain why some drug addicts (who really want to stop using drugs)
find it difficult to completely break free from the habit and often falls back.
9.7 Eating of raw flesh (with the blood still in it) or drinking of blood (e.g.
during hunting rituals)
We have recently found that the enemy apparently has the right to make DSC’s
of a person and to keep it captive in a spiritual place of bloodlust in the spiritual
realm based on the fact that the person ate the raw testicles of an antelope that
he shot (this was part of a ritual that hunters apparently partake in when they
shoot their first antelope…..).
This perhaps makes sense if we take into regard what God says in Leviticus 17
verses 10 to 12 about the eating of blood: “And whatever man… eats any blood,
I will set My face against that person who eats blood, and will cut him off from
among his people. For the life of the flesh is in the blood … No one among you
shall eat blood…”
9.8 Satanic or other rituals
Certain curses spoken by witches or Satanists that are sealed in the spirit with
rituals and especially blood sacrifices may also result in DSC’s of the person
that was cursed to be held captive in a spiritual place under the reign of Satan.
This will however only be so if there were sufficient “open doors” or legal rights

in the person that was cursed (e.g. unbroken blood line curses of witchcraft
(e.g. Athaliah) and/or a strong DSC that is also in witchcraft (e.g. Athaliah) and
that is already in the person that is being cursed).
We ministered to a man that said the Holy Spirit reminded him of the fact that
he climbed into a coffin (in Egypt in one of the tombs of the pharaoh’s) long ago
when he visited Egypt. He however, at the time, saw it as a big joke and thought
nothing of it! When we tested, we found DSC’s of himself that were held captive
in a spiritual place of death in the spiritual realm, apparently since he associated
himself with the dead and thereby gave the spirits of death (that were in the
pharaoh’s tomb) the right to copy his soul dimension and to keep it captive.
One may safely imply from this example that when Freemasons are lowered
into an actual or a symbolic coffin (as part of the ritual to the third degree of the
Blue Lodge of Freemasonry i.e. to become a “Master Mason”), the demons
would obtain the same right namely to make copies of the Freemason’s soul
dimension and to keep it captive in a spiritual place of death.
We have also found that DSC’s were made and held captive in a spiritual place
under the reign of Satan based on some of the rituals done in martial arts
whereby the person, knowingly or unknowingly, gave honour and pled
allegiance to the demonic powers that are given legal right by participation in
the martial arts e.g. Kundalini.
9.9 Conversations with the dead
It appears that there may be a trade-off in the spirit between the demons that
assist in “calling up of the dead” and the person who wants to obtain information
from the dead. The person who seeks counsel from the dead, willingly (but
maybe unknowingly) gives the demons access to his/her soul dimension (i.e.
to copy it by demonic force and to keep it captive somewhere in the spiritual
realm under Satan’s reign). Depending on the nature and depth of the
conversations with the dead, this may even have an implication for the
generations to follow (i.e. it causes a blood line curse until it is repented for,
thereby giving Satan and his demons the right to also keep DSC captives of the
descendants).
9.10 Horror movies etc.
We agree with Méndez-Ferrell that many horror movies are made with the
purpose of trapping souls.22 What happens is that when a person fears, the
enemy obtains the right to take the soul dimension captive by making a copy of
the fearful soul dimension and holding it captive in a spiritual place of fear and
anxiety.

This may explain why people may still be afraid of certain things that they
experienced whilst watching a movie in childhood, even though they are now
adults.
9.11 Agreements entered into or covenants made with Satan
In the occult, for example in Satanism or Witchcraft, covenants are frequently

made with Satan or demons and they are usually also sealed by blood
sacrifices and/or cutting or the drinking of blood. When this happens, the
individual is actually “selling his soul” (and often also those of his/her
descendants) to Satan. This inevitably gives Satan and his demons the right
to make DSC’s of the individual’s soul dimension and to hold them captive in a
spiritual place under the rule of Satan or Lucifer or some or other demonic
principality.
This may explain to us why people who break free from Satanism or Witchcraft
in order to follow Jesus, often find it a lifelong struggle to gain complete victory
in Jesus Christ. We always used to say that if you were previously in Satanism
or Witchcraft that “Satan has your number” and that he “will never lose it!” We
now perhaps understand why Satan has such a grip on people who have
previously made covenants with him. Although the covenants may have been
broken by the power of the blood of Jesus, Satan still holds the prisoners
(captive DSC’s) over whom he has full authority. This, in turn, has an effect on
the actual person living on earth (i.e. keeping him in bondage to Satan in various
areas of his soul and body).
We once ministered to a young man who said that he, as a rebellious teenager,
signed next to a pentagram drawn on a piece of paper but he did not think
anything of it. We found DSC’s of him in a spiritual place under the reign of
Satan due to what he did since Satan saw it as entering into an agreement with
him and that he thereby gave Satan rights to his soul.
We should also, in this context, remember that some of the rituals done and
declarations made as part of the various degrees in Freemasonry actually
amounts to covenants and agreements being made with Satan (which may also
include the descendants of the Freemason). We may therefore expect that
there are DSC’s of a person (that are being held captive by Satan in a place
under his reign), if the person or his/her ancestors were involved in
Freemasonry.
9.12 Rituals done on someone “in the spirit”
We recently ministered to a lady who, as a young child of five years old, fell into
the hands of a witch (her drum majorette teacher at the time) who caused (by
demonic power) the young child’s spirit to be pulled from her body (must have
been when she was sleeping at night) and then the witches did rituals on and
with her spirit (in the spirit). The one ritual that was done involved forcing the

spirit of the young girl to sacrifice babies in the spirit to Satan. The other ritual
that was done was to marry her in the spirit to Satan and to cause Satan to
have sexual intercourse with her to confirm the marriage union in the spirit.
This gave Satan and his demons the right to make DSC’s of her soul and to
keep these copies (thousands) captive in a place in hell where he himself
(Satan) was torturing them all the time. Fortunately Jesus has set them all free!
10. WHEN IS THE DSC TAKEN CAPTIVE?
10.1 At conception in the womb
Most often the DSC’s are already formed and taken captive at the person’s
conception in the womb, when the soul dimension is created by God23. That
would be the case if the right of the enemy to do this comes from a blood line
curse or something that the ancestors did that bound their descendants. Most
of the spiritual captives we have so far found told us that they have been held
captive in this spiritual place from the time of the real person’s conception in his
or her mother’s womb. This is really shocking to know and gives a whole new
understanding to the words of David where he says in Psalm 51:5: “Behold, I
was brought forth in iniquity and in sin my mother conceived me.”
10.2 At the time when the enemy gained the right
If the right of the enemy to do this does not come from something that happened
higher up in the blood line (i.e. in the lives of the ancestors) but from something
that happened during the person’s own lifetime (e.g. sin, unforgiveness, trauma
or a specific ritual that was done (e.g. visiting a sangoma)) then the DSC would
be created and taken captive by the demons at the exact time when the incident
happened in real life.
11. WHAT IS THE “CONNECTION” BETWEEN THE CAPTIVE DSC’S (IN A

SPIRITUAL PLACE UNDER THE REIGN OF SATAN) AND THE REAL
LIVING PERSON?
From our experience in ministry, it seems as if the captive DSC’S are linked to
the real living person in the spirit by something similar to a soul tie. One could
also perhaps describe it as a spiritual umbilical cord.
The Holy Spirit showed us that this soul tie is similar to a rubber band
(connecting the DSC’s in the spiritual place under the reign of Satan with the
real living person). When Jesus then frees the captives from their captivity, the
rubber band is released causing the DSC’s to “bounce back” to the real living
person, whose soul copies they are.
This explains how it may be that, after the DSC’s have been freed from captivity
by Jesus, we may speak to them in the person that we are ministering to. They

are therefore released from their places of captivity, only to find themselves in
the person whose soul copies they are.
We agree with Méndez Ferrell where she says24 that the captive soul dimension
(DSC) sees, hears and feels everything that is happening in the place of
imprisonment, just as the real person would have if he or she was actually held
captive there.
Some of these captive DSC’s (after having been made free by Jesus) told us
that they knew about the existence of the real living person on earth and that
they even knew what effect they (the captive DSC’s) had on the real living
person (e.g. that the person should feel unworthy and have a low self-worth).
On the other hand, others said that they did not know of the real person who
lives on earth and also did not know that their existence had an effect on the
real living person.
Our Lord Jesus Christ also gave us the image of a puppet master (being Satan
and his demons) who has the right to (in soul and body) manipulate people on
earth (even Christians) by the invisible spiritual chords that connect the real
living person with his or her captive DSC’s.
In this comparison the puppets are the real

living people, the cords are the soul ties between
the living people and their captive DSC’s and the
sticks (or the knots) that the puppet master holds
in his hands are the captive DSC’s.
Therefore, everything that the captive DSC’s

experience and go through in the spiritual
place under the reign of Satan, seems to have a
direct or indirect effect on the living person on
earth.
There is however one HUGE difference
between the puppets that are being controlled by
the puppet master and us as human beings and that is: The real person has a
FREE WILL and does therefore not have to obey the puppet master’s
commands! The real person can, in the power and strength of Jesus, renew
his or her mind and choose to obey Jesus and not Satan. Thank you Jesus!
We may therefore never blame Satan or a demon for what goes wrong in our
lives but should always be prepared to be accountable towards God for our own
mistakes and our sin.

12. HOW WILL I KNOW IF THERE ARE CAPTIVE DSC’s OF A PERSON’S SOUL
DIMENSION IN SPIRITUAL PLACES UNDER THE REIGN OF SATAN?
Ana Méndez-Ferrell says in her book25 that every person who has suffered an
emotional blow or trauma or has experienced the pain of a broken heart is
almost certainly being held captive in some area of life. Anyone who comes
from a broken home or from a heritage of the occult or blood shedding is in a
similar situation. That part of your life where you feel that you do not yet live in
victory or where there is a blockage you can’t seem to get around, has to do
with spiritual captivity.
The shocking truth is that most Christians do have spiritual captives of
themselves (DSC’s) that are being held captive in spiritual places under the
reign of Satan due to what their ancestors have done, thereby causing blood
line curses.
Other sure signs of the existence of these spiritual captives are, in our
experience, the following:
 The person struggles to gain full victory in life despite a vast number of
deliverance and inner healing sessions;
 There seems to be a “block” in their deliverance and healing or it seems
as if they have reached a “dead-end” in their own quest for complete
inner healing and freedom in Jesus;
 Despite the fact that all known blood line curses have been broken over
the person and all known sin and unforgivenesss has been dealt with
(confessed and repented) some demons and/or demonic soul copies in
the person still seem to have a lot of strength and power to resist. It is
almost as if the demons and or DSC’s enjoy the fact that they still have
power and do not want to cooperate;
 When you know that all rights of the enemy have been taken away and
the particular demon (or DSC) even admits it but still does not want to
release the person; and
 If any of the legal rights (referred to in paragraph 9 above) existed but
has now been taken away and the person still feels unable to live in
complete victory.
Méndez-Ferrell says26 that someone’s soul dimension may belong to God

(being saved and redeemed) yet suffer demonic influence because of DSC’s
that are being held captive. We agree with her that this condition may produce
illness, failure, fear, anguish and breakdowns that do not seem to respond to
prayer.

13. HOW DO WE MINISTER TO THE CAPTIVE DSC IN ORDER FOR IT TO BE

SET FREE?
13.1 Jesus paid the full price for your complete freedom and victory in Him
on earth
Jesus came to set the captives free but this does not happen automatically. As
Méndez-Ferrell says27 Jesus signed the check, but we must cash it. God wants
us to possess all the riches of His grace right now.
It is the same than the fact that Jesus died for the sins of the world, but this
does not automatically save the whole earth and everybody on it. Each of us
must receive the Gospel, repent from our sins, leave our vain ways of living,
invite Jesus into our hearts and truly make Him the Lord of our lives. Only then
are we saved.
The same thing happens when we say He took our captivity captive and seated
us in heavenly places (Ephesians 2: 6-7). He gave us the victory so we can
leave our captivity without oppression. He opened the way for each part of the
soul to be established in heavenly places with Him
God has called us to call the prisoners out and to tell those who are in darkness
to show themselves (Isaiah 49: 8-10).
If we are truly in Him (and Him in us), we hold the keys of death and hell and
are full of the Holy Spirit (Revelation 1:18).
13.2 Spiritual keys to freedom in Jesus Christ
Our Lord Jesus has taught us that some of the spiritual keys that may be used
to unlock any type of spiritual captivity are the following:
 Hearing and accepting the truth (John 8:32: “And you shall know the
truth, and the truth shall make you free.”);
 Forgiveness of the living and the dead (including ourselves and God);
 Sincere confession and repentance of sin (without repentance the blood
of Jesus, shed for us on the cross, does not atone for our sins);
 Sincere confession and repentance for the sins of our ancestors in order
for the blood of Jesus to wash us clean from the inherited
unrighteousness, thereby also cancelling the blood line curses over us
and our children;
 Inner healing of trauma, hurt emotions and pain by the blood of Jesus;
 Deliverance: Casting out of demons, addressing DSC’s and asking
Jesus to set the captives (DSC’s held captive in spiritual places under
Satan’s reign) etcetera.

We are continuously trusting the Lord for even more spiritual keys to unlock the
prison cells and to set the captives free.
13.3 A court order of release
Our Lord Jesus Christ has shown us that the spiritual realm was created by Him
according to rules similar than the rules of law that we have on earth. Therefore,
if all the rights of the enemy (to keep God's people captive) have been taken
away, the situation is similar to a prisoner who is being held in prison without
any just cause. He may then approach a court of law to request an order for
his release since there is no longer any valid reason to keep him captive.
We therefore in actual fact approach the Court of Law in Heaven when we ask
in prayer for the release of the prisoners from their captivity under Satan’s rule
and, if there are no longer any just cause for Satan to keep them captive, they
will be released.
The spiritual order for release is given by God and the enemy has to obey since
he may only do what God allows and God will only allow the enemy to do what
is within his legal rights.
13.4 The process we were taught by the Holy Spirit
There are people, such as Ana Méndez Ferrell and others, who claim that they
have obtained the mandate and permission from our Lord Jesus Christ to enter
the spiritual realm prophetically to access these spiritual places in order to set
the captives free.
Although we do not necessarily disagree with the way in which Mendez-Ferrell

feels that they have been empowered by the Lord to set the captives free, we
do agree with her28 that not everyone is gifted prophetically to see the Kingdom
of God and the kingdom of darkness. She herself says29 that if you are unable
to see the spiritual world, do the deliverance by faith. She encourages believers
to simply apply the truth established in Isaiah 49 verse 9 to say to the captives
“Come out” and to those in darkness, “Show yourselves”.
Our mandate from the Lord Jesus Christ is to set the captives free simply by
faith since our Lord says in his Word in 2 Corinthians 5: 7: “For we walk by
faith, not by sight.” Therefore, if we have sufficient faith, it is not necessary for
us to see. We could simply in faith accept that what we have prayed for has
happened.
We may therefore simply ask the Lord to send in His warring angels to set the
relevant captives (DSC’s) free whilst we stay safely outside of the places of
captivity in the spiritual realm. The process that we therefore follow in order to

set the captives free (as soon as we have heard from the Holy Spirit that there
may be such prisoners) is basically as follows:
 We command the gatekeepers to the relevant spiritual place to be bound

in the name of Jesus;
 We ask Jesus to send in His holy warring angels to seek the prisoners
out and to rescue them from that spiritual place and to bring them to a
place that is under God’s authority;
 We then ask our Lord Jesus to restore these DSC’s back to health and
to life and to wash them clean with His blood of any unrighteousness of
the ancestors that may have been the cause of them being there (e.g.
rituals done, witchcraft etc.);
 If we pick up in the spirit that they are sufficiently washed clean by the
blood of the Lamb and are now ready to go with Jesus, we then ask
Jesus to take these DSC’s of the person away; and
 In some cases (when we clearly see that the DSC is there and has been
made free by Jesus), we would call the DSC out of the person into whom
it has been released and then talk to the DSC as we would do with a
Hurt Inner Child (HIC) or Hurt Inner Adult (HIA). This is how we have
obtained all the information about the nature of the spiritual places where
these DSC’s have been held captive etc.
13.5 Remember to include the people under your spiritual authority
We have found that God honours our prayers for our spouses and children and
other people that may be under our spiritual authority (also those that you are
standing in the gap for since they are no longer able to pray for themselves).
Therefore, you may surely include your spouse and your children in your prayer
for the release of the DSC captives. Based on your spiritual authority (e.g. as
the father or mother) as well as the fact that the blood line curses have also
been broken over them, our Lord Jesus Christ will also order the release of the
captive DSC’s of your spouse and children!
All the more reason why our fathers and mothers should take up their authority
in Jesus Christ and start to intercede for their families and loved ones in prayer.
13.6 Be guided by the Holy Spirit: No two cases are the same
The above mentioned is however just a guideline and you should always be
sensitive to the Holy Spirit to guide you, as no two (2) cases are ever the same.
14. IS SELF-DELIVERANCE (OF YOUR OWN DSC’S FROM CAPTIVITY)
POSSIBLE?
The Lord Jesus Christ, through His Holy Spirit, is our Counsellor (Isaiah 9: 6).
We may therefore go to Him and ask Him to help us gain freedom from captivity,
also in this area of freedom.

The way to pray over this would be to ask the Holy Spirit to show you whether
there are DSC’s of you that are being held captive in spiritual places under the
reign of Satan and his demons. When you have heard from the Lord that there
are captive DSC’s, pray that the Holy Spirit will reveal to you the place where
the particular DSC’s are being kept and why they are there. You may then start
to pray into their release in the way that we have set out in paragraph 13.4
above.
Sometimes, however, the believer may require the help of fellow believers who
could pray with him or her and who could assist by way of their gifts of the Spirit
to pray into the freedom of these captives.
Again, one should remember that the spiritual realm (and especially Satan’s
Kingdom) is extremely legalistic. Our God is also a righteous God and therefore
He respects the spiritual rules that He Himself has created. That means that,
should the enemy still have any right to keep these DSC’s captive (refer to
paragraph 9 above), they will probably not be released, no matter how much
we pray or ask.
15. WHAT HAPPENS TO THESE CAPTIVE DSC’S AFTER JESUS HAS SET
THEM FREE?
In our experience and according to what the Holy Spirit has taught us in ministry
sessions, they simply vanish or disappear (i.e. are being “cancelled”).
We should always keep in mind that these DSC’s are merely demonic copies
of the real person’s soul dimension and that they therefore do not have a right
of existence in themselves. When Jesus frees the captive DSC’s from their
places of captivity, it is therefore rather the real living person on earth that gains
lasting freedom in Jesus Christ whereas the DSC’s are simply being taken away
by Jesus (i.e. cancelled in the spirit).
16. WHAT MAY PREVENT THESE CAPTIVE DSC’S FROM BEING SET FREE?
16.1 The person that is being ministered to is not yet baptised as a believer
The baptism of believers is something that we as believers in Jesus Christ

should all go through in obedience to Jesus’ command in Scripture (Matthew
28:19).
The meaning of the true baptism of believers by way of complete immersion in

water is that we become one with Jesus both in His death and in His
resurrection from the dead, thereby we are being clothed in Jesus and in His
resurrection power. Paul says in Galatians 3:27: “For as many as you as were
baptised into Christ, have put on Christ.”
If we delve even deeper into this, we would also find that believers who were
baptised by full immersion in water now has the same spiritual authority here
on earth than Jesus (when He lived on earth) and the demons in Satan’s

Kingdom know this. Jesus says in Revelation 1 verse 18 that He holds the keys
of Hades and of Death meaning that He has overcome death and Satan’s
Kingdom. When we have been baptised into His death and resurrection, it in
fact means that, in Him, we too have overcome sin and death and that we too
may use the spiritual keys that Jesus has taken back from Satan to unlock the
various places of captivity.
We therefore have serious doubts whether a person who has not yet been
baptised as a believer will be able to receive this type of spiritual break-through.
However, we may surely still pray for those people that have not yet been
obedient in the baptism of believers and specifically also for their inner healing
and deliverance.
16.2 Any unconfessed and unrepented sin
If, for example, there are DSC’s that are being held captive in a spiritual place
under the reign of Satan as a result of the person’s own sexual immorality (e.g.
pornography, homo-sexuality, adultery etc.) and he or she does not confess
and repent for this sin, the blood of Jesus will not atone for it and therefore the
sin still stands, thereby creating a curse over the person’s life. The curse of the
unrepented sin is what prevents the stronghold from being unlocked in order
for the captives to be set free.
It follows that the enemy’s right to keep the DSC’s of the person captive in a
place of sexual immorality under his reign would still be intact and that the
enemy does not have to let go of the prisoners, even if we should ask in prayer.
Repentance is therefore a very important spiritual key and freedom in Jesus

Christ therefore always starts with sincere confession and repentance of sin.
16.3 Unforgiveness.
Unforgiveness in the person that you are ministering to is a huge stumbling

block to that person’s inner healing and deliverance in Jesus Christ.
The Lord says in His Word that our sins will only be forgiven if we are also
prepared to forgive those who trespass against us. Unforgiveness may
therefore, in general, be a huge stumbling block to a person’s inner healing and
deliverance (in general) and therefore also to the setting free of spiritual
captives.
16.4 Blood line curses are still intact and not yet cancelled by the blood of
Jesus
We have experienced in ministry that the DSC’s that are being held captive in
spiritual places under the reign of Satan may only be set free if the enemy no
longer have any rights over them. The principle is therefore the same in the
spiritual realm than in the natural realm. If a human authority on earth should
have a legal right to keep a person in prison, the prisoner would have to stay in

prison. If the prisoner is however being held captive without a legal right thereto
(i.e. he is not guilty or has served his full sentence), an application may be made
to a court of law and the judge would rule in favour of the prisoner’s release.
One of the enemy’s rights to still hold a prisoner may be an unbroken blood line
curse. The blood line curse pertaining to the particular DSC’s that are being
held captive should therefore first be broken over the person that you are
ministering to (in the womb at conception)30 before one may ask that the captive
DSC’s be set free by Jesus.
An example of this would be the blood line curse of murder, violence and
bloodshed. This curse should first be broken in the womb at conception by
prayer before one may ask that Jesus send in His warring angels to set free
any spiritual captives (DSC’s) that are perhaps held captive in a spiritual place
under the reign of Satan due to murder and bloodshed by the ancestors.
16.5 Denial in the person that lives on earth
The person that you are ministering to should not be in denial about any
situation in their lives that is linked to the reason why these DSC’s are being
held captive. An example would be if the person was molested as a child and
therefore underwent trauma in their childhood but wilfully chooses to stay in
denial about this, it may prevent the captive DSC’s of that little child of being
set free by Jesus.
16.6 Pride (Leviathan) in the real person – God resists the proud
We know that God says in His Word that He resists the proud. In James 4:6 it
is said that “God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
It is therefore always very sad if we sense in the spirit that pride or self-
righteousness is standing in the way of full victory in Jesus Christ.
Each and every believer in Jesus Christ should confess of and repent for this
stronghold of Leviathan31 that often also entered our souls and bodies through
blood line curses.
16.7 Unhealed trauma
If DSC’s of ourselves are being held captive by the enemy as a result of past
trauma and we, ourselves, have not yet received inner healing from God thereof
in our soul dimensions, we suspect that the DSC’s that are being held captive
will not be released since the enemy may still have a right to hold them captive.
The legal right of the enemy in this case would be the fact that the person has

not yet obeyed the Lord by acknowledging his or her pain and bringing it to
Jesus for healing and complete restoration.
Unhealed trauma may include things such as sexual molestation or even rape
in childhood or adulthood. It may also include extreme rejection, either as a
child or as an adult (e.g. divorce). Any extreme hurt, emotional pain,
brokenness (even as a result of the loss of a loved one) will have to be healed
by the blood of Jesus first (in the person you are ministering to) before the
spiritual captives (DSC’s) may be set free.
With “heal” in the previous paragraph we also mean that the hurt inner children
(HIC) and hurt inner adults (HIA’s) should be addressed in prayer and taken
away by Jesus, before the captive DSC’s may be released. The reason
herefore is that the enemy’s right to hold the DSC’s captive in a spiritual place
under his reign may be attached to the locked-in hurt and trauma of the HIC or
HIA.
16.8 In general: An uncrucified flesh-life
If the real living person is not prepared to live a life of total obedience to Jesus
and is therefore not willing to crucify his/her flesh (i.e. their own personal fleshly
desires) the demons would know that they still have right to the person’s soul
and body and therefore they would not have to release their captives, as yet.
A good example of this would be if someone seeks freedom in Jesus Christ but
still compromises with the enemy in his or her daily life with, for example,
drinking, cursing, losing their temper, being sexually immoral by way of extra-
marital affairs etc.
We always say that you have to come to Jesus with “clean hands”, if you are
seeking inner healing and deliverance from Him. However, only Jesus knows
our hearts and if we are honest and sincere in trying to break with our sin, He
will always bestow His loving grace and forgiveness on us.
16.9 Kundalini (counterfeit holy spirit) demonic infestation
The counterfeit holy spirit is a snake-like demon called Kundalini. Kundalini

opposes the working and gifts of the true Holy Spirit. We have often found that
a “total block” to inner healing and deliverance is due to Kundalini and then the
person should first be delivered from Kundalini before the rest will be able to
follow.
The reality in our day and age is that many senior pastors (and their junior
colleagues) of the big charismatic churches (also the traditional churches) are
Freemasons. Freemasons worship Lucifer and are themselves infested with
Kundalini. They therefore (as the spiritual leaders) bring the Kundalini into the
churches and with Kundalini goes false signs and wonders. People get infested
with Kundalini by merely their membership of these churches since demonic

soul copies of these pastors enter them through the unholy soul tie created by
the church membership and the false priesthood. The laying on of hands (when
praying) and false prophecies spoken over these members of their churches
also creates an easy doorway whereby Kundalini may gain access to a
believer’s soul and body.
All readers of this teaching should learn more about the counterfeit holy spirit
since it is amongst the top 3 threats to believers in Jesus Christ during these
end times that we live in. We find DSC’s of senior pastors of big churches in
the people that we minister to daily!!! We therefore suggest that you obtain our
DVD called “Kundalini awareness” and also study our teaching on Kundalini
that may be downloaded from our website for free.
17. SOME PITFALLS AND THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR
17.1 It is not only a “piece” or a “fracture” of the soul dimension that is held
captive, but rather a copy of the complete soul dimension
Ana Méndez-Ferrell refers in her book to parts of our souls that are held
prisoner through sin, sickness, fear or pain. Although we respect Ana’s book
and the knowledge that the Lord Jesus imparted to her, we must respectfully
disagree with her that these captives are merely parts of the soul dimension of
human beings. In our experience, they are complete copies of the original soul
dimension of the person.
We are confident of our opinion because of the fact that we have found DSC’s
and demons to be in these captive DSC’s and when we speak to them (the
DSC’s) and they respond to our calling them out, they respond to us and answer
us as a complete copy of a human soul dimension and not merely a part.
We have also recently found that these captive DSC’s may have DID. In our
view this also confirms that the captives are complete copies of the soul
dimension of a particular person and not merely parts, pieces or fractures.
17.2 More than one copy
Depending on the strength of the legal right (e.g. blood line curse) the enemy
could have made more than one copy of the same soul dimension. There could
therefore be numerous copies of the same soul dimension in the same spiritual
place of captivity. We have already found up to thousands of DSC’s of the
same person in the same place of captivity. In such a case it is important to
ask that Jesus set free all the captive DSC’s at the same time and that nobody
remains behind.
17.3 Captive DSC’s may have demons and DSC’s in them
We have often found that we first had to cast out demons from these DSC’s
(just after they have been set free from the spiritual place of captivity by Jesus)
before they were able to go with Jesus (i.e. disappear).

It is also a regular occurrence that the DSC’s that were set free by Jesus could
not find complete peace until we also asked Jesus to rip the DSC’s from them
of the persons who e.g. traumatised them or did a ritual on them etc.
17.4 Captive DSC’s may have DID
We have recently found (when we ministered to a lady who had DID) that there
were DSC’s of herself in a spiritual place under the reign of Satan that also had
DID!! It further appeared that the whole DID programme in the living person
were kept going by the demons as a result of the fact that the captive DSC’s
still had DID.
One could perhaps compare it with a control room (the captive DSC’s) from
where the demons try to instate and reinstate the DID in the living person due
to the fact that the captive DSC’s are linked by a very intimate soul tie with the
living person.
After having freed the DSC’s from their place of captivity, we also had to ask
Jesus to integrate all the DID parts of the captive DSC’s with their core DID
parts, before Jesus could take them away.
17.5 Sometimes you may even have to cancel the bloodline curses or rituals
that were done also over the captive DSC’s
In certain cases where the particular blood line curses or rituals that were done
by the ancestors were very strong, we even had to cancel the blood line curses
and break the particular curses and rituals also over the captive DSC’s before
they were able to be set free completely and could find peace.
18. OTHER OBSERVATIONS WHEN THESE CAPTIVE DSC’S ARE BEING SET
FREE BY JESUS
 These captive DSC’s are most of the time fully aware of what is
happening to them in the place of captivity and of their surroundings.
They also know when they are being set free and are under the reign of
God. They often give us detail such as how many angels there were
that set them free, what the place looked like where they were held
captive, who the main demons in that spiritual place were and also what
the place looked like where the angels took them (e.g. in God’s light,
under the Tree of Life etc.).
 We usually know that there are captive DSC’s in a spiritual place under
the reign of Satan if we know that all rights of the enemy have already
been cancelled but a particular demon or DSC still appears to be very
strong and does not want to cooperate. It is almost as if you can pick up
in the spirit that the demon or DSC is challenging you and is still full of
confidence because of the spiritual power that is still being drawn from
the captive DSC’s. When we sense this, we usually simply bind the

particular demon and then start the process of asking Jesus to free the
captive DSC’s. After the captive DSC’s have been set free, we then
again call out that particular demon and we then always find that the
demon has “no more wind in its sails” meaning that it suddenly becomes
submissive and cooperates with us.
 We once had a session where the real person (a woman) experienced
a physical pain in her side as of a knife. It came out during the session
that the demons had put a knife in the DSC of the real person that was
held captive in the particular spiritual place. This had a direct effect on
the real person in that she experienced the pain and when the captive
DSC’s were set free by Jesus, the pain was gone!
19. THE KEYS OF DEATH AND HELL
In Ephesians 4 verses 8 and 9 Paul says that Jesus, before He ascended to

Heaven, also descended to the lower parts of the earth (Hell) in order to “led
captivity captive”.
Jesus says in Revelation 1:18: “I am He who lives, and who was dead, and
behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of
Death.”
Our Lord Jesus also says in Isaiah 45: 2 and 3: “I will go before you and make
the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut
the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of
secret places that you may know that I, the Lord, who call you by your name,
am the God of Israel.”
We believe that these prophetic words transgress generations and thousands

of years and also reaches to us that are currently living in the last days before
Jesus’ return.
Our Lord also says in Matthew 16 verses 18 to 19 that He will build His church
on the revelation that He is “the Christ, the Son of the living God” and that the
gates of Hades (the power of death) will not prevail against His church (the
Body of Christ). Jesus says further that he will give us (His Bride) the “keys” of
the kingdom of heaven. “Keys” spiritually denotes authority. He then assures
us that whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever we
loose on earth, will be loosed in heaven. We believe that among the keys of
the Kingdom are those that unlock the regions of captivity.
20. CLOSING
We are living in the end times and it is not long before our beloved Jesus Christ
will return. He wants to return to a Bride that is spotless and washed clean with
His blood.

It is therefore important that we, as the Bride of Christ, should ensure that we
have sufficient oil in our lamps32 when the Bridegroom returns meaning that we
should prepare ourselves by allowing Jesus to wash our Bridal garments clean
with His blood.
This means that we should start to deal with all known sin in our lives by
repenting for our own sins and also those of our ancestors. We should also
learn how to pray effectively into all known unhealed trauma and hurt in our
lives. We have to allow the blood of the Lam to heal us.
Part and parcel of preparing ourselves for Jesus’ return is inner healing,
deliverance and setting the captives free.
We should, in general, live a holy life, sanctified by the blood of Jesus. Jesus
says in His Word in 1 Peter 1: 16: “Be holy, for I am holy”.
Our prayer is that all the captives will be set free and that God’s children will be
able to live the life of victory here on earth that Paul had in mind when he said:
“For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of
the sons of God.” (Romans 8:19) Our interpretation of this verse is that the
sons of God are those reborn believers in Jesus Christ who are filled by the
Holy Spirit and knows their true identity and authority in Him. They are therefore
able (by applying the blood of the Lamb) to walk and live in complete victory,
fully restored to God’s initial dream for mankind in the Garden of Eden.

PRAYER TO SET THE SPIRITUAL CAPTIVES (DSC’S) FREE

Lord Jesus, we bow before your Holy throne and ask that you will open our
spiritual eyes and ears so that we may hear from you clearly Jesus.
Precious Holy Spirit, we now ask that you will show each one of us clearly in
our spirits, whether there are spiritual captives of ourselves (DSC’s) that are
being held as prisoners by Satan in any spiritual place under His

Lord Jesus, if it is your will, please show us the exact place or places where
they are held and also on what basis those prisoners are being held captive

or whether the enemy still have any legal right to keep them

reveal to us in your perfect timing why they may still be kept in prison and what
we should do to take the rights of the enemy over them

Lord, in respect of those prisoners that may be released today, we ask that the
gate keepers to those spiritual places now be bound in your name and that you
send in your holy warring angels to search for and rescue and free each DSC
of me, my spouse and my children that are being held captive in the spiritual
place(s) that you have shown

Lord Jesus, I ask that every demon or DSC in those spiritual places who wants
to oppose your warring angels now be bound in the name of Jesus and I ask
that all the captive DSC’s of myself and my family members be brought out of
their prisons and into your marvellous light and therefore into a place where you
reign Jesus.
To those DSC’s of myself, my spouse and my family members that may be in
a spiritual place of death and that may feel as if they themselves are dead, I

declare in Jesus’ name (as He did with Lazarus) “come forth” and “be healed
and restored back to life”.
Lord Jesus I now ask that you will wash each DSC of myself and my family
members clean with your blood, that each curse over them will now be broken
and that you will rip out each DSC that are in them. I also cast each demon
that may be in them out in the name of Jesus and, should they have DID, I ask
that all their parts will now integrate with the core.
Jesus I ask that you will dry each tear from the DSC’s that have been freed by
you and that you will heal them and restore them back to life.
I now ask Jesus that you will take all these DSC’s with you and that you will
give them eternal freedom in you (i.e. cancel them in the spirit).
Thank you Lord Jesus and precious Holy Spirit, to you all the praise, the honour
and the glory, for ever and ever!
