COURSE OUTCOMES:

At the end of the module, students should be able to:-

1. set out and lay mosaic on the wall whereby pre-cast terrazzo and cast-in-situ terrazzo are set out on the surfaces.
2. carry-out polishing and grinding work on terrazzo.
3. set out and lay square marble, broken marble, and parquet / floor board on the surfaces to be finished.
4. carry-out grinding and polishing works on the marble floor and parquet / floor board floor.
5. set out and lay polyvinyl chloride tiles on a floor surfaces.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This module is designed as an exposure to students who plan to develop their competency and skills relating to methods of finishing works on
various wall and floor surfaces. It is a module that integrates traditional method and contemporary concept of doing finishing works. Workplace
safety and adhering to rules and regulation is being practiced simultaneously.
