Course Outline

OBJECTIVES:
At the end of this study:
 Become familiar with a database management.
 Will cover the fundamentals and application of database management system
principles and techniques. Concepts will be applied in a team-based project.
 Students will gain hands-on experience with design, problem-solving, and
teamwork.
 Do some hands-on database manipulation, including prototyping,
requirements specification, software development and testing.
 Will prepare students to delve into a more detailed study of the areas of
management, and better prepare students for assuming positions as
administrators and application developers.
 Student will create a simple Database system using Microsoft Access and
vbscript.
