DESIGN CONCEPT: EVOLUTION OF FORMS:

THE BLOOD VESSEL TRANSPORTS BLOOD
THROUGHOUT THE HUMAN BODY. THERE
ARE 3 MAJOR TYPES OF BLOOD VESSELS:
THE VEINS, IT CARRY BLOOD TOWARDS THE
HEART, THE ARTERIES, IT CARRY THE
BLOOD AWAY FROM THE HEART & THE CA-
PILLARIES. BLOOD VESSELS ARE NEEDED
TO SUSTAIN LIFE AS ALL OF THE BODY’S
TISSUES RELY ON THEIR FUNCTIONALITY.
THE PROPOSED MEDICAL HOSPITAL
FOR THE REGION OF CAGAYAN VALLEY
SHALL SATISFY THE NEEDS OF THE
COMMUNITY. JUST LIKE A BLOOD V E S
SEL ITS MAJOR PRIORITY IS THE CIRCU-
LA TION, THE FLOW OF THE USERS, ACTIVI-
TIES & SERVICES WILL BE CONSIDERED
CAREFULLY AND EVEN THE ZONING OF AR-
EAS FROM PUBLIC, CLINICAL & STAFF.
Each layer of the arteries veins has corre-
sponding role in transporting and controlling
the flow of the blood. As a result, The pro-
posed medical hospital will adopt the layering
of the it which will
help especially in
heating problems &
privacy. The arteries and
veins have three
layers. The middle
layer is thicker in
the arteries than
it is in the veins.
As if the arteries & the veins,
the membranes of the of the pro-
posed medical facility will be
made of different indigenous sustainable
materials that will be used for long term.
Due to this, each
membrane of the
structure has their
own function , thermal
insulation, security & super-
vision, energy efficiency
and privacy & Confidentiality.
