Annual Convocation

(One last time for the CIMPians)

To all the midnight hunger and sleepless nights, to the last minute preparations and deadlines and to
all the marks and grades, it was a CHEER to all the efforts, hard work and diligence when CIMP
hosted its 10th Annual Convocation for the batch of 2017-2019 on 28th April 2019.

The Convocation 2019 was yet again another reason for CIMP to celebrate. This year the total number
of passing students was 72 out of which ___ were female students. The academic celebration was
graced by the presence of Vibhas Kumar, Executive Director Indian Oil Corporation Ltd as the Chief
Guest along with Ram Nivas Kumar, Executive Director and Chief Executive OfficerNatural Capital
Corporation, Canada as the Guest of Honour.

The icing on the cake was the 100% placement record for the outgoing batch as well. Major
companies taking up the CIMP talents were Tata Advance System Limited, ICICI, HDFC, Federal
Bank, Asian Paints, Jeevika and the likes offering packages ranging from 4Lacs to 14lacs. CIMP
never fails to witness the 100% placement as it promises and pin in the same in their records and
newsletter.

Apart from the procession, the excited and proud parents of the students also warmed the gathering.
Large media coverage was proof enough of the great success and grandeur of the students and the
event as well.

Professor Ranjit Tiwary then addressed the gathering. Congratulating all the students, Professor Ranjit
Tiwary said that this is a new beginning for not only the students, but also the institute, which expects
them to live up to its expectations with the degree. He concluded his talk thanking all the parents and
family members for being there and congratulated the administrative staff as well for their efforts in
organizing the event.
 Annual Fest UDBHAV 2019

The most awaited, vibrant and exuberant event in any college is the “Annual College Fest”. This year
the CIMPians hosted the college fest UDBHAV 2019 on 23rd of February. College fests are
everything in college life, full of zeal, fun and frolic and a break from the monotonous life of the
students. UDBHAV 2019 was no less than a festive celebration. It took all things to another level and
set the bar high for the coming years.

With competitions such as “Feet on Fire” in the field of dance, “Sur Sangam” in the field of music,
“ADFIE” (advertisement selfie) displaying the talent of students in both marketing and photography,
everything was a show to watch. Other mainstream events were the Business Plan and the B-Quiz,
both of which witnessed greatest number of participation. Well, it had to be since it was organized by
CIMP! With greatest amount of prize money of Rs15000, B-Plan was startling event yet again that
came up with students from distant places even virtually through Skype when physical presence was
not possible. Their unprecedented and unparalleled business ideas and strategies were extremely
appreciated by the panel of CIMP. In fact, few extremely good ones were selected to take further, the
plan, for the startup incubation centre managed by CIMP itself.

Attracting many talents across various colleges in Bihar, UDBHAV 2019 was a hub of future stars on
23rd Feb 2019, from Patna Womens’ College, BIT, Xaviers, NIFT, CNLU to mention a few. Apart
from showcasing their talent in dance and music, students also mirrored their views, thoughts and
appeal on the sheets through their art on the topic – Green Environment. Not a single segment was left
by CIMPians. A large arena of mouth-watering food made by the CIMP students was also there to up
even the smallest inch of enjoyment by the students and the participants in and out of the campus.

All in all, UDBHAV 2019 was a grand event and the success was celebrated by the CIMPians in the
much awaited DJ night bringing all feet together on one floor to groove on similar rhythm!!
