Local Associations
Joining IBA membership, NAHB, and joining a local builders association gives grants
members the benefits of three associations for the price of a single local membership.

Committees
1. Association Issue Committee
- Provides members with a networking tool to support, strengthen, and advance our
association and the home building industry.
-Committee members will also work together with staff to create and implement programs
of interest to the membership and make recommendations to he Board of Directors.
2. Codes and Safety Committee
-Oversees building codes, standards, and regulations.
-Recommends policy to the board relative to the adoption and implementation of
statewide building codes.
-Consults with INSafe to offer safety training.
3. Executive Committee
- Policy and steering committee of the association.
4. Finance Committee
- Studies the finances of the association.
- Makes recommendations
5. Housing Protection Fund Board of Trustees
- Protects the industry and the affordability of housing.
- Crafts strategy for legal defense.
6. IBA Educational Scholarship Foundation
- Awards scholarships and raises funds
7. IBA Remodelers
- Made up of remodelers
8. Insurance Task Force
- Review and recommend insurance programs as member benefits.
9. Investment Policy Committee
- Reviews that reserve funds of IBA and establishes investments to adhere to the highest
possible yield at the lowest possible risk.
10. Land Use Committee
- Compare successful strategies from their projects.
- Competitive guards are relaxed as colleagues network with each other in this intensely
regulated business.
Builder Standards
A resource to help customers understand the basics of home building.
Helps builders/remodelers manage customer expectations and prevent/resolve customer
complaints.
