Subject: Extension of benefits of th Central Pay Commission (CPC) — Pay Revision of

Pay and Allowances of Faculty in respect of other new AIIMS.

Sir,
I am directed to refer to this Ministry's letter No. Z-28016/15/2017-PMSSY-IV
dated 9.12.2017 on the above mentioned subject and to intimate that the P-', and
Allowances of faculty of AIIMS, New Delhi; PGIMER, Chandigarh and JIPMER, Puducherry
has been revised vide this Ministry's letter No. V-16020/28/2017-INI-1 (rt.) dated
23.08.2018 (copy enclosed) and the same has been extended to the faculty of other new
AIIMS with the approval of the Competent Authority.

2. This issues with the approval of IFD vide their C. D. No. C-1609 dated 23.08.201C.

Subject: Pay revision of Faculty of Autonomous Institutes, viz. ARMS, New Delhi,
PGIMER, Chandigarh and JIPMER, Puducherry —reg.

Sir,

In supersession of this Ministry's letter No. V-16020/28/2017-INI-I dated

01.11.2017 on the subject cited above, I am directed to say that the Government of India
has decided to revise the pay scales of faculty of above mentioned three autonomous
Institutions and formulated a new Pay Matrix as per statement attached. The Post wise
details of pay would be as under:
The Pay in the case of Assistant Professor (AGP: Rs.8000) would be level 12 in the
(i)
Pay Matrix. After three years, Assistant Professors will move to level 13 of the Pay
Matrix.
The Pay in the case of Associate Professor' (AGP: Rs.9000) would be level 13A-1+
in the Pay Matrix.
The Pay in the case of Additional Professor (AGP: Rs.9500) would be level 13-A2+
in the Pay Matrix.
14-A in the Pay
The Pay in the case of Professor (AGP.: Rs.10560) would be level
Matrix. The Pay of 40% Professors in the HAG would be level 15 in the Pay Matrix.

(v) The Pay in the case of Director (Rs. 80000 fixed) would be level 17 in the Pay
Matrix.
It has also been decided to revise the following allowances of the faculty of the

three Institutes as per the details given below:
Academic Allowance: R. 22,500/- pm.
Learning Resource Allowance: Rs. 1,50,000 per annum.

3. The effective date of fixation of revised pay of the faculty of the three Institutes is
1.1.2016. The effective date for revision of above two allowances is 1.7.2017.

Anomalies, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the

notice of the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family
Welfare for clarification/decision of the Central Government.

This issues with the approval of Ministry of Finance (Department of Expenditure)
