Saiku – Error creating a session: No

license Found

After installing Saiku Analytics from Market Place, when you are trying to create the report’s you
might encounter the following error.

Don’t Panic. All you need to do is Download License.lic file from h p://licensing.meteorite.bi/ site
and copy into Saiku installation directory, sample path “C:\Pentaho\server\biserver-ee\pentaho-
solutions\system\saiku”

Steps for creating free license by meteorite.bi

1.Sign up h p://licensing.meteorite.bi/

2. Log in & Create New Company ( wait, I mean just to fill some x company information )

2. click Create New License,

This screen appears

HostName: Enter the System Name, On Windows open CMD and type ipconfig / all

MAX USER: Enter some number

License Type: Select the appropriate license type in my case I have EE 5.4 so I have selected Trail

UserName: Enter the Username

Company: Select the company, which you have created earlier

Click Save.

3. Download License & Rename License.lic & copy to Saiku installation Directory “C:\Pentaho\server
\biserver-ee\pentaho-solutions\system\saiku”

Now Restart BI Server, Login to PUC & Create New Saiku Analytics

You will able to see this screen.
