COURSE DESCRIPTION: The course introduces prospective secondary and elementary teachers with knowledge and understanding of the subject area which include; foundation disciplines, structural
components, and models of teaching and assessment strategies. This will help provide the student with the theoritical underpinnings in teaching and develop concepts, skills,
attitudes, values related to the subject area.
COURSE OBJECTIVES: At the end of the course, the student is expected to demonstrate:
