Mini Projects for B.E./ B.Tech- Students
As you all know TELECOM now-a-days is the most happening sector and the Engineering Graduates of ECE, ETM, IT
etc., branch are required to get acquainted themselves with the latest developments in the telecom sector in order to keep
pace with the technological developments in this sector.
In view of above, in order to make them conversant with the latest developments in the telecom sector, Regional
Telecom Training Centre (RTTC), BSNL, Gachibowli, Hyderabad is conducting ‘MINI PROJECTS FOR ENGINEERING
STUDENTS’ on Familiarization of latest Telecom technologies
RTTC, Hyderabad is an ISO 9001:2008 certified prestigious telecom training centre in Southern Region and its
campus at Gachibowli spread in about 40 acres of land is equipped with modern infrastructure to impart training at global
standards in a most conducive environment, having many laboratories containing not only latest telecom switching,
transmission equipments, GSM equipment and computer & networking laboratories, but also has a facility to extend training on
live systems wherever the training needs demand.
The Mini Projects will be given on Switching Technologies, Transmission Technologies, Mobile Communication,
Broadband and Networking.

BSNL, RTTC Hyderabad offers Mini Projects to BE/ B.Tech Students under four different categories i.e Switching,
Transmission/OFC, GSM-Mobile and Networking/Broad band Projects.
Also Provides the Limited Mini Projects for CSE & IT students as mentioned in the List

For the Mini Projects in various telecom Technologies, Kits and Codes will not be provided.
The simulators/ codes and reports as mentioned in the Mini Project Abstract will be given

Duration & Period of batches conducted.

The duration of the above mini / study project course is spread over one month and covers the detailed features of the
respective technologies and the equipment features and the student will be given exposure to both theoretical and practical
aspects of the subject. Further guidance will also be given to complete the project report and a certificate will be given on
successful completion. Student is required to attend the institute

Who Can Apply

IV/ I- Sem (i.e. III Year completed) Engineering students of of Electronic & Communications Engg, or
Computer science, IT can apply with Permission from College or can do Voluntarily.
How to Apply
Download the Registration form from the www.rttchyd.bsnl.co.in website. Duly submit the same to the
address mentioned under contacts/ correspondence along with the Registration Fee (Follow any one of the
following Mode of Payment) and along with the other documents as mentioned below.
The students of same college on registration cannot claim for the allotment of Project for which they
 registered, till they pay the full Fee. If any student from same college pays the Fee for the same Project, it will
be allotted to them.
Documents to be submitted
1. Duly Filled Application Form along with Photo Affixed on it.
2. One Passport Size Photo (Write The Name, College and applying batch number on backside)
3. College ID Card Xerox
4. Original College Permission Letter.
If the student Voluntarily applies for training they should affix a Xerox copy of
Address & Photo ID Proof.
Course Fee and Payment Modes
Registration Fee: Rs.100.00 + Service Tax (12.36%) [Non-Refundable] i.e. `. 112/-
Mini Project Fee: Rs.4, 000 + Service Tax (12.36%) [Non-Refundable] i.e. `. 4,495/- per each student
Mode of Payment: Payment of registration and course fees can be made in any of the three following modes

1. Payment can be made by cash/DD drawn in favour of “Accounts Officer (Cash), BSNL, RTTC, Hyderabad”,
at the cash counter of RTTC, Gachibowli.
2. Payment in the form of DD drawn in favour of “Accounts Officer (Cash), BSNL, RTTC, Hyderabad” along with
the registration form can be send through speed post to the Principal, RTTC, Gachibowli, Hyderabad-32.
3. Amount can be remitted to the RTTC, Corporation Bank, Gachibowli account No. CBCA/01/000005, Bank
MICR code:-500017025, Bank IFS Code:CORP0001049 through (a) e-banking/EFT or (b) at any bank.

The candidates opting for the above option (3), should send an e-mail to bdrttc@bsnl.co.in giving the
particulars like (a) name, (b) course name, (c) dates of course, (d) mobile number (e) fee remittance
particulars (f) Completely filled registration form as an attachment

Note:Fee once paid will not be refunded or transferred.

Hostel Facility (Optional)

Lodging & Boarding Charges = Rs.173 per Trainee per day on Triple Sharing basis (Hostel facility is provided during
the actual training period and subjected to availability only) in RTTC campus
