2 Constructing the Firepit
In the location of your choice, re-build the
firepit the same way it is packaged/assembled
on the pallet. The firepit will consist of 3 layers
of Ammon’s Wall units, laid horizontally when
viewing from above. Each layer will consist of
12 units, totaling 36 units for all 3 layers.

TIP: Before disassembling the firepit, take a

photo of the firepit showing placement of the 2
Ammon’s Wall® units. The photo can be used
for reference later.

3 Inserting the FireBricks

Insert the FireBricks in the firepit using your
photo for reference.* Lay the FireBricks on
the bottom first to serve as the base. Bottom
FireBricks are laid in 3 rows of 6, for a total of
18. There will be a gap of 1” - 2” between the
FireBricks and the Ammon’s Wall.
3
Next, line the inside of the firepit with FireBricks
by placing a total of 22 pieces vertically along
all four walls.

4 Placing the Final Layer

Beginning with any corner, place the final
layer of Ammon’s Wall. It is suggested the final
layer be glued with a concrete adhesive. **
Consisting of 18 units, each side will have an
approximate 2” overhang to create a cap.
In this final layer, the units will be laid in the
opposite direction of the first 3 layers. 4
5 Finishing
Place the steel insert into the firepit, resting
on the cap units. Place the grate into the
appropriate slots on the insert with the
handle pointing upward.

*FireBricks should be installed loosely; without mortar.

**Firepits can be installed with or without the use of a con-
crete adhesive. However, it is suggested that the top layer be
adhered to the layer beneath. 5
