What have I learned from the experience?

(Technical)

My experience with the people around me.

The most memorable event during my practicum.

What can I recommend for the improvement of the OJT/ Practicum Program.

My advice to those who will have their practicum in the future.

Having my OJT in PLD Construction is such a pleasant experience,They taught and

trained us very well handle different kind of people. But one of the most important things I`ve
learned is that talent alone is not enough. It is important, but it is no guarantee of success. One
must also be hardworking and should practice self-discipline. Sacrifice is important too. OJT
gives us a taste of the real world a glimpse of what lies ahead after we graduate

My experience with the people around me is great. I build a good relationship with the
people inside the office and also at the people working on field. I met new people and became
friends with them in such a very short period of time. Those people I met teaches me life
lessons and I really appreciate it. I`m so blessed to met them.

The most memorable event during my practicum was the first day of my duty because
it`s my first time to do a tasked in the real world of industry, Honestly I always got nervous
dealing with a people who is Professional or should we just say High rank people whom shall I
met first time. always came up to my mind during that day is,”what to do”,”what to say” and I
feel bad of myself. This was the first working experience that I will never be forgotten

The only thing I can recommend for the improvement of the OJT/Practicum is allow
studdents to accept opportunities that base outside of Cebu and lastly let the students look for
a company earlier.

For those who will take their practicum in the future, my advice is don’t choose a
company just because they have an allowance choose a company that will nurture your talent
and teaches you to become ready in the real world. And if you are hired already take serious on
the tasked given do your best.Show them that you are not just only a trainee but you are just
like an employee that taking his/her job well done and make them proud of you. In result, the
company might absorb you in the future if you have a good performance.

What have I learned from the experience? (Technical)

My experience with the people around me.

The most memorable event during my practicum.

What can I recommend for the improvement of the OJT/ Practicum Program.

My advice to those who will have their practicum in the future.

Having my OJT at PLD Construction is such an inspiring delight. I learned a lot from their
training or teachings that they taught to us. Our time management was being enhanced. We
also learned how to handle people having different attitudes. That what we’ve learned from
school is discrete from the actual. Being obedient is a predominant matter when being a worker.
It’s shattering to us as a on the job trainees that witnessing from imagination and plan turnout
into real life structures.

Encountering different people everyday is awesome, but working with the people who
taught you a lot not only about how to solve and estimating plans yet teaches you a life lessons
is a gift. The project manager, engineer, workers and stuff that I’ve met during the time of my
ojt, they are the people that has already part of my journey throughout my college life. I’m so
blessed to met them.

Everyday of my duty brought disparate experience, but the most memorable experience
is the time meeting the heads and computing the construction cost for bidding. It’s a big
summon to us as a first timer or newbie handling and accepting the task. The rest of the day of
my duty is an inordinate experience.

The only thing I can recommend to improve the OJT/ practicum program is that they will
let the students look earlier a company. And also they must allow students to accept
opportunities that base outside of Cebu.

My advocate or suggestion to those who will have their practicum in the near future is
that look for a company that will train you better, where you can learn a lot. Background check
the company if that company will truly can help you in your OJT. And never choose a work
where to assign.
