Subject: Safety Working Time Limits

Dear All,

Fatigue is a well-known contributing factor in many accidents and incidents. A person who is
fatigued may have slow reaction time and poor decision making capability. We already have
restrictions on how many hours drivers can work in a day and this has resulted in a reduction
in the number of vehicle accidents where fatigue is a contributing factor. In order to ensure
that all employees are fit to work at all time the following working time limits are to become
effective immediately.

 No employee is to work for more than 16 hours in any 24 hour period.

 No employee is to work more than 56 hours working time in any one week period.

Any deviation from these limits MUST be prior approval by the Plant Manager (Narogong,
Cilacap, Ciwandan and Tuban), the Operations Manager (RMX or Logistics) and relevant
Senior Manager in your areas. In the event that the deviation of these limits occurs then these
senior managers should notify Corporate OH&S (Keith Kimmons).
