Methodology

The researchers used Simple Random sampling in this experiment with a method of
Descriptive method which describes the characteristics of the population or phenomenon that is
being studied. Under the descriptive method, The Technique used was Observational method
focusing on Qualitative observation that doesn’t involve measurements or numbers but instead
just monitoring characteristics of the subjects. Researchers find a target place that is perfect for
performing the experiment; they observe the place and take a short video for 15 minutes. On
March 04 2019, 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm on the Pup catwalk / Pup gate and had the intervention for
the following two consecutive days, the researchers starts the official conducting of experiment
on March 07, 2019, 3:00 pm to 6 pm on the chosen target place. The same experiment was
conducted after three consecutive days it was performed on March 11, 2019 on the same place
and same time, the last conduction of experiment was performed on March 14, 2019, 3:00 pm to
6:00 pm. All of the materials used in this experiment were provided by the researchers.

The researchers divided by one and pairs to assign for the conducting of the video recorders
and audio recorders to be able to shot in different angles. The researchers also provided three
questions for a successful respondent that accepted the request with their consent to perform an
interview. The questions are:

1. Bakit po kayo pumayag na mapag-iwanan ng gamit ng isang stranger?

2. Ano pong naramdaman nyo nung manghingi ng favor si stranger sa inyo?
3. Ano pong masasabi nyo sa mga strangers na humihingi ng favor sa kapwa strangers?

Respondents

The respondents were students from Pup sta. mesa manila; researchers choose simple
random sampling in which everyone has a chance to be selected. There was no specifically
chosen course or people, but since the researchers perform a mini interview, the researchers able
to get the course in some of the successful respondents the following courses are:
 Senior high school students
  Psychology major
 Accountancy major

A. Preliminary procedures

Before this experiment officially performed the researchers find a target place that is
possible to conduct the experiment. The basis of the chosen place was the volume of
people, the possible extraneous variable that may encounter. This made possible by doing
the observation phase.
