The start of another school year is almost near to us and we all know how
hectic and busy this period can be. For the parents, it is time to worry about the
school supplies and uniform their children need. For the schools, it is time to repair
broken things and equipment, repaint classrooms and different facilities, clean and
pull the weeds on the grounds, buy office and classroom materials, and prepare for
a mountain of paperwork. So, it is time for the stakeholders and private sectors to
share their time, effort, and resources in making the Brigada Eskwela a successful
one.
On this 3rd day of Brigada, some stake holders and people from private and
public sectors joined hand in hand in making the 3 rd day of Brigada Eskwela a
successful one. Early in the morning, the Barangay Health Workers form Buisan,
Bustos, Bulacan volunteered to sweep the dried leaves on the ground and pull the
weeds on the garden. They also clean the backyard of each classroom. One of the
new elected councillors of Bustos Municipality, Tangkol Perez, visited the school
and donated money which can be helpful for the school’s needs.
Before the day ends, volunteers from Bureau of Fire Protection came and
helped in cleaning the school. They first clean the plastic arm chairs of Grade 4
using their water hose. They also cleaned the corridor of the new constructed
building, stage and the corridor of the computer room. After they clean some areas
of the school, they water the plants on the garden near the flag pole.
This day is really productive to everyone, for the volunteers who gave their
time and effort in cleaning the school and for the teachers who gave their best in
making their classroom a welcoming and conducive for learning. The way we get
meaning into life is to devote ourselves to loving others, devote ourselves to
community round us, and devote ourselves in creating something that gives our
purpose and meaning in life
