family amusement park
on July 4th!

birthday on Thurs-
day, July 4, when Land
of Make Believe and the
Hope Area Chamber of
Commerce once again
“Salute the Volunteers of
Hope Township,” from
sports coaches and Scout
leaders to members of
the Hope Volunteer Fire
Department and first aid
squad, and those serving
on town committees. This
annual tradition is one
big THANK YOU on be-

and works in Hope. This

This year, residents can
use their visit to explore
their own Town’s ​Hidden
History with the New O ​ FF
ROAD ​​​Safari “Time Trav-
el” Adventure that shows
how the original Swedish
frontier settlers lived and
what it looked like nearly
300 years ago. It is done
by riding a real Safari
Truck through the Out-
back of what was Ameri-
ca’s Western Frontier. This
Historical event is done
through the eyes of a 9
year old Swedish girl, Jen-
ny. The NJ State Park here
is named after her as well
as the Mountain range,
Jenny Jump State Park and
Jenny Jump Mountain.
You can see the House she
lived in and the rock that
made her famous.
On Thursday July 4,
Hope Township residents
(proof of residency re-
quired), as well as Cham-
ber members and their
families, will be admitted
free beginning at 10 a.m.
and continuing through-
out the day. The water park
and dry land activities are
included, including all
shows and attractions at
what has been called the
“ #1 Family Amusement
Park in North Jersey.” The
park has free parking and
families are invited to
bring their own food for a
picnic or purchase food at
the park.
Members of the Hope
Chamber of Commerce,
who volunteer their
time to help improve the
business quality of life in
the Hope area, will join
town officials to greet pa-
trons as they arrive at the
park.
