RESOLUTION AFFIRMING THE VALIDITY OF BARANGAY RESOLUTION NO. 56, SERIES OF 2017,
PASSED BY THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF BULA, THIS CITY, DECLARING OCTOBER 20 TO
27, 2017 AND THE SUCCEEDING YEARS THEREAFTER AS “LINGGO NG KABATAAN”

WHEREAS, for review of this Sanggunian pursuant to Paragraph (a)(1)(i), Section 458 of
Republic Act 7160, otherwise known as the “Local Government Code of 1991”, is Barangay Resolution
No. 56, Series of 2017, passed by the Sangguniang Barangay of Bula entitled:

“A resolution declaring October 20 to 27, 2017 and the suceeding year

thereafter as “Linggo ng Kabataan” of LGU-Barangay Bula, General Santos City.”

WHEREAS, after careful perusal of the provisions of the subject Barangay Resolution under
review, this Sanggunian finds the same to be in order and, hereby, declares the same to be within the
prescribed powers of the Sangguniang Barangay to pass;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor _________________, duly seconded by City

Councilors_________________________, be it

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to affirm the validity of Barangay Resolution No. 56, Series
of 2017, passed by the Sangguniang Barangay of Bula, this city, declaring October 20 to 27, 2017 and
the succeeding years thereafter as “Linggo ng Kabataan”.
