 Vision 2020: If the firm is to grow, it cannot grow without the associate’s growth.

Which
means they put that much effort and mentorship into them.
 Operations focussed: Apart from just suggesting a solution, you also show how to do it. As a
CXO I will need to learn that skill as well

I want to join the firm where I would enjoy working and where I would get the best opportunity to
learn and grow professionally. And AT Kearney fits the bill due to two main reasons.

1. Projects
2. People

Reason 1. Projects.

a. ATK approaches projects with maximising shareholders value in the long term. And that is
exactly the thinking and skillset required as a person in upper management.
b. Due to their Co-Creation model the solutions that are developed by ATK are more
implementable and more accepted by clients. And implementations is one of the most
important skillset of a C-Suit.
c. ATK promotes being a generalist for some time before specializing, hence I can explore more
industries before choosing my specialization.

That’s why working here gives me a wider range and number of projects, thus allowing me to
gain a broader skillset.

Reason 2. People and Culture

I will have to work long hours as a consultant, and I work best with people who are nice and
collaborative. And that is something you insist on and have achieved. Everyone I have talked to from
the firm has been incredibly nice and helpful and I believe I will fit right in.

That’s why I want to work at ATK for its projects and people.
