MAJOR PROJECT:
REAL TIME AND PREALARM SYSTEM FOR DANGEROUS MOUNTAIN
IN THE RAILWAY LINE

Whenever the railway line passing through the natural elevation on the earth, there is a
chance of occurrence of collapse, landslide and insufficient security, which badly threaten the transport
safety of the railway. In this project we continuously monitor the earth’s surface deformation using
vibration sensor and ultrasonic senor which transmits and receives the signal to calculate the distance
and displacement . Then these deformation data will be routed to nearest stations through the GSM
wireless communication technology. This project consists of basic module
o PIC microcontroller
o Ultrasonic sensor
o Vibration sensor
o RF and GSM modem

MINI PROJECT:
FIRE ALARM

This project is to alert the fire in the building using Ic 555 timer, Thermistor (Negative
Resistance Co-efficent) and Speaker. When temperature increases, resistance of thermistor
decreases. So it enbles the NE555 timer and output given to the speaker which alerts.
