Job Responsibility:

 Developing the design calculation of mechanical Static Equipments based on the inputs from
client like GA drawings and basic process datasheet.
 Selection of MOC, material thickness & stress analysis using ASME & TEMA codes.
 To prepare Datasheet & Material Requisitions (MRs) for Quotation and for Purchase
 Attending vendor / client meetings to sought out the problems
 Perform design calculation and model using Pv-elite, Code Cal software. And thickness
calculation of pressure parts using ASME, TEMA, IS codes, WRC107, WRC 297, calculation.
 Providing input data for draftsman for drafting using AutoCAD.
 To review the technical offers from bidders, and to prepare technical queries
 To prepare Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) reports
 To review vendors calculations and drawings (for Various Static Equipments)
 To interact with other departments and project/client, for Inter-Departmental Checking
comments, on MDS and Tech Specs, TBEs, and Vendor documents

carrying out Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE);

 To optimize the vessel in such a manner to Provide higher pay load without violation of
international as well as domestic rules and regulations.
 Fabrication Drawing Preparation guidance to Draughtsman & Drawing verification.
 Responsible for Detailed Engineering- Covering G.A. drawings, P&Id, pfd, Equipment
specifications, inputs.
 Knowledge of different quality standards, fabrication processes & sequences, which helps in
preparing drawing efficiently.
 Designing & Development of lighter structural component in place of existing over designed
