Being in a play is not really my thing. But I get to be in one when I was still in
junior high, but only in our classroom. I thought it was hard because you have to
give your all when performing in a huge audience, but turns out it was fun. You get
to be a different character and have a new point of view. Preparing for our role
play was exhausting, especially for us members who were the only ones that
actually helped make the props. Some of our members didn’t really help and just
contributed for the expenses. It was very unfair to us that worked hard and then
they that didn’t help would get the same grade that we will have. Good thing Mrs.
Labro did not let that happened.

During the day of our culminating activity, all of us were anxious because this is it!
We were going to perform on the stage, in front of different people. Even the
others that were just going to watch were really nervous, because their grade will
depend on the rating of the judges in the performance of every group. What really
made me so anxious was, when our group was the first one to perform out of all
the other groups that were there.

My knees were shaking and my hands were sweating as the play goes on. But I still
continue and show off my skill in acting. The thought of fainting was hilarious
because I was not really used to people staring at me. I almost, almost forgot my
lines because of nervousness, but good thing I didn’t ‘cuz that would be a disaster.
It was like there was a huge weight that has been lifted on your chest right after we
finished our play. We congratulate ourselves for a job well done.

After the performance of the other groups we waited in the afternoon to know who
the winners were and who were the best actors and actresses. I didn’t expect to be
one of the best actors because it was my first time to perform in a stage with lots of
crowd. But I was happy to know that I was awarded to be one of the best actors.
And with that, my hard work really did paid off in the end. It was fun and I
enjoyed it.
