Job Description

•To assist Project Engineer ,Works Dept. and sub-contractors on all testing requirements of products as per PIP
(Project inspection Plan) and also to meet companies objective .

•To prepare and conduct testing including witnessing/inspection of various testing activities and requirement
of each product at various stages of production.

•To prepare WIR (Work Inspection Report) and respective documents for compilation & submission to client.
WIR documentation must be reviewed and approved by the QA Manager prior submission.

•To maintain the data base for structure joint welds, welders, NDT and NDT operators

•To check and review approve procedure available for contraction such as WPQR, WPS, NDE procedure,
Calibration certificate, contraction drawing and consumable batch certificate.

•To check joint identification, Root gap, Root face, included bevel, Miss Alignment, Direction, Orientation,
and Dimension. And realize to welding activity.

•To prepare weld summary, Traceability report, fit up report, Visual report, NDE report, and Calibration
certificate. Complete of final document and realize for painting and blasting.

•To carry out with line work with latest revision drawing, Punch list.

•To check joint identification, Welder identification, weld defect such as hi reinforcement, cold lap, under cut,
gas pore, burn through, Uneven weldment, incomplete groove, spatter and mechanical damage. Final
Dimension, alignment to check and request for NDE requirement.

•Surveillance check of welding parameters.

•Attending Weekly client meetings.

•Carry out visual inspection on weld joint mostly on structure.

•Review drawing for inspection before carry out visual inspection, repairing due to reject joint after perform
NDT Method (UT/MPI).

•Liaise with NDT Coordinator to carry out any NDT test on required joint.

•Involve with Supervisor, Welder Foreman for welding works, repairing work

Have more than 15 years experiences in construction,fabrication and inspection as a Welder and Quality Control
Inspector for Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Refineries and Power Generation.
Excellent communication, technical and interpersonal skills, with hardworking and resourceful attitude, with
ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
