Kayla Falls

June 9th

One dark stormy night, the sky was as black as space, even the stars couldn’t be
seen. Out of a small white hole with a green glow, which appeared in the sky immediately,
there came a meteor! It crashed into the ground throwing out an obstacle right into farmer
Saladino’s barn. Except it wasn’t a meteor at all…

The very next morning, farmer Saladino came into the barn he owned and to his
surprise, all his vegetables and fruits were gone, “ahh, where are my vegetables and fruits?”
he exclaimed. He searched for them high and low and didn’t find them anywhere. He
grumbled and walked out his barn and saw a green man who looked just like him!

“I want more food! Nobody gives me food.” said the alien.

Farmer Saladino said “Listen up, I’ll tell you, to get food you must work hard as I do,
I work hard as I get up in the morning and work from sunrise to sunset, scattering seeds,
collecting grains and picking fruit.”

The alien said “I am not from this planet. What is this work you speak of? What am I
supposed to do?

“Okay, you are supposed to work for me by growing crops and selling them for me.
Work hard then I’ll give you food, okay.” said farmer Saladino.

“Okay.” said the alien.

After that, the alien worked super hard and he made the farmer a billionaire! The
alien also had his share too, food was there any time he wanted. Life was good for the
farmer and the alien.

One day, the farmer fell asleep on his tractor and we he woke,

“Oh no! It was just a dream!

“Oh, how wonderful would it be if that dream was true, I would be rich. How good
would life be then,” he sighed.
