201 Asmā’ un-Nabī

in Dalā’il-ul-Khayrāt

َ َ ُ ُ ْ َ َ َ ْ ِّ َ َ ِّ َّ ُ َ
‫ّٰس ِِّي ُدنا‬
ّٰ ‫ّٰصلّٰوّٰس ِلمّٰلَعّٰم ِنّٰاسمه‬
ِ ‫اللّٰهم‬
O Allah! Bless and grant peace to the one whose name is:

Sayyiduna (our Master)

َُ
ّٰ‫ُم َّمد‬
Muhammad, Most praised one

َ ْ َ‫أ‬
ُ‫ْح ّٰد‬
Ahmad, Most praiseworthy

ّٰ‫َحا ِمد‬
Hāmid, One who praises Allah

َْ
‫ُم ُم ْو ّٰد‬
Mahmūd, Praised by all, Laudable

ّْٰ‫أَحيد‬
ِ
Ahīd, Protector of believers from hell-fire

ْ
ّٰ‫َو ِحيد‬
Wahīd, Unique

1
 ّٰ‫َماح‬
Māhin, Obliterator of disbelief

ّٰ‫اش‬ َ
ِ ‫ح‬
Hāshir, Summoner, Gatherer on the Day of Judgement

ّٰ‫ََعقِب‬
‘Āqib, Successor of all the Prophets

ٰ
ّٰ‫ٰطه‬
Tāhā, Tāhā

︣‫يٰس‬
Yāsīn, Yāsīn

ّٰ‫َطا ِهر‬
Tāhir, Pure, Clean

‫ُم َط َّه ّٰر‬

Mutahhar, Purified (by Allah)

ّٰ‫َطيِّب‬
Tayyib, Good, Pleasant

‫َسيِّ ّٰد‬
Sayyid, Master of all

ّٰ‫َر ُس ْول‬
Rasūl, the (Prophetic) Messenger (of Allah)

 ‫نَ ي‬
ّٰ‫ب‬ ِ
Nabiyy, Prophet

َّ ّٰ‫َر ُس ْو ُ ّٰل‬
َ ْ ‫الر‬
ّٰ‫ْح ِة‬
Rasūlu’r-rahmah, the (Prophetic) Messenger of mercy

َ
‫قيِّ ّٰم‬
Qayyim, Right and True, Straight

ّٰ‫َجا ِمع‬
Jāmi‘, One who gathers in himself all perfections

ْ
ّٰ‫ُمقتَف‬
Muqtafin, One who succeeds all the Prophets

َّ َ
ّٰ‫ُمقّف‬
Muqaffā, One who is followed

َ ْ ُ
ّٰ‫َر ُس ْولّٰال َمال ِح ِم‬
Rasūlu’l malāhim, the (Prophetic) Messenger of fierce battles against oppressive
disbelievers

َّ ‫َر ُس ْو ُل‬
َ ‫ّٰالر‬
ّٰ‫اح ِة‬
Rasūlu’r-rāhah, the (Prophetic) Messenger of comfort/peaceful repose

َ
ّٰ‫َك ِمل‬
Kāmil, Perfect

ْ
ّٰ‫كيْل‬
ِّٰ ‫ِإ‬
Iklīl, Crown

3
 ِّ َّ
ّٰ‫ُمد ّٰثِر‬
Muddaththir, One Enveloped in a cloak/mantle

ّٰ‫ُم َّز ِِّّٰمل‬

Muzzammil, One Wrapped up in a garment

ّٰ‫لل‬ َُْ
ِ ‫عبدّٰا‬
‘Abdullāh, Allāh’s Ultimate Devotee

ّٰ‫لل‬ ُ ْ َ
ِ ‫ح ِبيبّٰا‬
Habībullāh, the Beloved of Allah

ّٰ‫لل‬ ُّ ِ ‫َص‬
ِ ‫ّفّٰا‬
Safiyyullāh, the Chosen one of Allah

ّٰ‫لل‬ ُّ ِ َ‫ن‬
ِ ‫ِجّٰا‬
Najiyyullāh, One in whom Allah confides spiritual secrets

ْ َ
ِ ‫كي ُمّٰا‬
ّٰ‫لل‬ ِ
Kalīmullāh, One who talked with Allah (on Mi‘rāj)

َ َْْ ُ َ َ
‫خاتمّٰاْلن ِبيا ِّٰء‬
Khātamu’l Anbiyā’, the Seal of the Prophets

َ َ
ُّٰ ‫ّٰالر‬
ّٰ‫س ِل‬ ُّ ‫ات ُم‬
ّٰ ‫خ‬
Khātamu’r-Rusul, the Seal of the (Prophetic) Messengers

ْ
ّٰ‫ُمح‬
Muhyin, Reviver of dead hearts with the light of faith

 ْ
ّٰ‫ُمنج‬
Munjin, Leader to salvation

ِّ َ
ّٰ‫ُمذ ِّٰكر‬
Mudhakkir, One who reminds us of Allah, Admonisher

َ
ّٰ‫اص‬
ِ ‫ن‬
Nāsir, Helper

ْ
‫َمن ُص ْو ّٰر‬
Mansūr, Helped by Allah, Victorious

ْ َّ ُّ َ
ّٰ‫ّٰالرْحَ ِة‬ ‫ن ِب‬
Nabiyyu’r-rahmah, the Prophet of mercy

ّٰ‫ّٰاتل ْو َب ِة‬
َّ ‫ب‬ ُّ َ‫ن‬
ِ
Nabiyyu’t-tawbah, the Prophet of repentance

ُ ََ
ّٰ‫ّٰعليْك ْم‬ ‫َح ِريْص‬
Harīsun ‘alaykum, Full of concern for you

ُْ
‫َّٰمعل ْو ّٰم‬
Ma‘lūm, Well-known

َ
ّٰ‫ش ِه ْي‬
Shahīr, Celebrated, Famous

َ
ّٰ‫شا ِهد‬
Shāhid, Beholder

 َ
‫ش ِهيْ ّٰد‬
Shahīd, Witness, Martyr

ْ
‫َمش ُه ْو ّٰد‬
Mash-hūd, Witnessed, the Attested one

ّٰ‫ب َ ِش ْي‬
Bashīr, Bearer of good news

ِّ
ّٰ‫ُمبَ ِش‬
Mubashshir, Conveyor of glad tidings

َ
‫ن ِذيْ ّٰر‬
Nadhīr, Warner

ْ
ّٰ‫ُمن ِذر‬
Mundhir, Warner, Dissuader from sin

ُ
‫ن ْو ّٰر‬
Nūr, Sacred light

َ ِ
ّٰ‫ِساج‬
Sirāj, the Sun of Prophethood

ْ
ّٰ‫ِمصبَاح‬
Misbāh, Luminous Lamp

ُ
‫ه ًدى‬
Hudan, Right guidance

 ْ
ّٰ‫َمه ِّٰد يى‬
Mahdiyy, Rightly guided

ّٰ‫ُم ِن ْي‬
Munīr, Illuminator

َ
ّٰ‫داع‬
Dā‘in, Inviter to Islam

ْ
ّٰ‫َمد ُع يو‬
Mad‘uww, One called by Allah

ُ
ّٰ‫ُميْب‬
ِ
Mujīb, Responsive

َُ
ّٰ‫ُماب‬
Mujāb, One whose prayers/calls are answered

‫َح ِ ي‬
ّٰ‫ّف‬
Hafiyy, Welcoming, Hospitable, Well-informed

َُ
ّٰ‫عف يو‬
‘Afuww, Pardoner

‫َو ي‬
ّٰ‫ل‬ِ
Waliyy, Friend of Allah, Friend of believers

ّٰ‫َحق‬
Haqq, Truth

َ
ّٰ‫ق ِو يي‬
Qawiyy, Strong, Powerful

7
 ْ َ
ّٰ‫أ ِمي‬
Amīn, Trustworthy

ْ ُ َْ
ّٰ‫مأمون‬
Ma’mūn, Trusted

َ
‫ك ِريْ ّٰم‬
Karīm, Generous, Noble

َ
‫ُمك َّر ّٰم‬
Mukarram, the Ennobled one, Honoured, Venerable

ْ َ
ّٰ‫كي‬ِ ‫م‬
Makīn, Firm, Unshakeable

ْ
ّٰ‫َم ِتي‬
Matīn, Firm, Authoritative

ْ
ّٰ‫ُم ِبي‬
Mubīn, Clear, Evident

ّٰ‫ُم َؤ ِّمل‬
Mu’ammil, Hopeful

ّٰ‫َو ُص ْول‬
Wasūl, Uniter

ُ ُ
‫ذ ْوّٰق َّو ّٰة‬
Dhū quwwah, Possessor of power

8
 ُ ‫ُذ ْو‬
‫ّٰح ْر َم ّٰة‬
Dhū hurmah, Possessor of sacredness

َ َ َ ُْ
ّٰ‫ّٰمَكنة‬ ‫ذو‬
Dhū makānah, Possessor of firmly established high position

ُ
ّٰ‫ذ ْوّٰ ِع ِّز‬
Dhū ‘izz, Possessor of might/honour

ْ َ ُ
ّٰ‫ذ ْوّٰفضل‬
Dhū Fadl, Possessor of Allah’s grace/ bounty

ّٰ‫ُم َطاع‬
Mutā‘, One who is obeyed

‫ُم ِطيْ ّٰع‬

Mutī‘, One obedient to Allah

ْ َ
ّٰ‫ق َد ُمّٰ ِصدق‬
Qadamu sidqin, One with a sincere footing

َ ْ ‫َر‬
‫ْح ّٰة‬
Rahmah, Mercy, Compassion

ٰ ْ ُ‫ب‬
‫شى‬
Bushrā, Glad tidings

َ
ّٰ‫غ ْوث‬
Ghawth, Saviour

9
 َ
ّٰ‫غيْث‬
Ghayth, Rain of mercy, brings dead hearts to life

ّٰ‫ِغيَاث‬
Ghiyāth, Helper, Saviour

َُْ
ّٰ‫لل‬
ِ ‫نِعمةّٰا‬
Ni‘matullāh, Favour of Allah

ُ َّ َ
ّٰ‫لل‬
ِ ‫ه ِديةّٰا‬
Hadiyyatullāh, the Gift of Allah

َْ
ّٰ‫ُع ْر َوةّٰ ُوثق‬
‘Urwatun wuthqā, the Firm Tie (that binds man to Allah)

ّٰ‫لل‬ ُ َ
ِ ‫صاطّٰا‬ ِ
Sirātullāh, the Path leading to Allah

‫ّٰم ْستَ ِقيْ ّٰم‬

ُّ ‫صاط‬
َ ِ
Sirātun mustaqīm, the Straight Path

ْ
ِ ‫ِذك ُرّٰا‬
ّٰ‫لل‬
Dhikrullāh, Personification of the remembrance of Allah

ُْ َ
ّٰ‫لل‬
ِ ‫سيفّٰا‬
Sayfullāh, the sword of Allah

ّٰ‫لل‬ ُ ْ
ِ ‫ِحزبّٰا‬
Hizbullāh, Allah's partisan

10
 ْ َّ َ
ُ ‫ج ُمّٰاثلَّاق‬
ّٰ‫ب‬ ِ ‫ّٰانل‬
an-Najmu’th-thāqib, the Piercing Star

َ ْ
ّٰ‫ُمص َطّف‬
Mustafā, Divinely selected

ُْ
ّٰ‫ُمتَ َب‬
Mujtabā, the Chosen one

َ ْ
ّٰ‫ُمنتَق‬
Muntaqā, Chosen for his purity
ُ
‫أ ِ ِّ ي‬
ّٰ‫م‬
Ummiyy, not taught by a human (but directly by Allah)

ُْ
ّٰ‫ُمتَار‬
Mukhtār, the Chosen one, Free to choose

ْ‫ي‬ َ
ّٰ ‫أ ِج‬
Ajīr, One who selflessly labours for Allah, rewarded by Allah

ّٰ‫َج َّبار‬
Jabbār, Compeller

َْ َُ
‫اس ِّٰم‬
ِ ‫أبوّٰالق‬
Abu’l Qāsim, the father of Qasim

َّ ‫أَبُو‬
ّٰ‫ّٰالطا ِه ِر‬
Abu’t-Tāhir, the father of the Pure (‘Abdullah)

11
 ِّ َّ ُ َ
ّٰ ِ ‫أبوّٰالط ِّٰي‬
‫ب‬
Abu’t-Tayyib, the father of the Pleasant (‘Abdullah)

َ‫أَبُوّٰإبْ َراهيْ ّٰم‬

ِ ِ
Abū Ibrāhīm, the father of Ibrahim

َّ َ
ّٰ‫ُمشفع‬
Mushaffa‘, the Accepted Intercessor

َ
‫ش ِفيْ ّٰع‬
Shafī‘, Intercessor

ّٰ‫َصا ِلح‬
Sālih, Righteous, Virtuous, Pious, Devout

ْ
ّٰ‫ُمص ِلح‬
Muslih, Conciliator, Peacemaker, Upright

ّٰ‫ُم َهيْ ِمن‬

Muhaymin, Protector, Guardian

ّٰ‫َصا ِدق‬
Sādiq, Truthful

ِّ
ّٰ‫ُم َص ِّٰدق‬
Musaddiq, One proved true, Confirmer, Verifier

ْ
ّٰ‫ِصدق‬
Sidq, Truthfulness, Sincerity

12
 َ ْ ‫َس ِّّٰي ُدّٰال ْ ُم ْر َسل‬
ّٰ‫ي‬ ِ ِ
Sayyidu’l Mursalīn, Master of all the (Prophetic) Messengers (of Allah)

َ ْ ‫امّٰال ْ ُم َّتق‬
ّٰ‫ي‬ ُ ‫إ َم‬
ِ ِ
Imāmu’l muttaqīn, Leader of the pious (who fear Allah)

َ ‫قَائ ُدّٰالْ ُغ ِّّٰرّٰال ْ ُم‬

َ ْ ‫ح َّجل‬
ّٰ‫ي‬ ِ ِ ِ
Qā’idu’l ghurri’l muhajjalīn, Leader of those with shining faces and limbs

ْ َّ ُ ْ َ
ّٰ‫ّٰالرْحٰ ِن‬ ‫خ ِليل‬
Khalīlu’r-Rahmān, the Friend of The Merciful Allah

ّٰ‫بَ ير‬
Barr, Righteous, Pious

‫َم َ ي‬
ّٰ‫ب‬
Mabarr, Essence of piety

‫َو ِجيْ ّٰه‬

Wajīh, Honourable, Illustrious

َ
ّٰ‫ن ِصيْح‬
Nasīh, Sincere Advisor

َ
ّٰ‫اصح‬
ِ ‫ن‬
Nāsih, True Counsellor

ّٰ‫َو ِكيْل‬
Wakīl, Faithful Trustee

ِّ
ّٰ‫ُمتَ َوّك‬
Mutawakkil, One who puts all his trust in Allah

 َ
ّٰ‫ك ِفيْل‬
Kafīl, Guarantor, Surety

َ
ّٰ‫ش ِفيْق‬
Shafīq, Compassionate, Kind

َّ ُّ ُ ْ ُ
ّٰ‫ّٰالسن ِة‬ ‫م ِقيم‬
Muqīmu’s-Sunnah, Establisher of the Sunnah

َّ َ
ّٰ‫ُمقدس‬
Muqaddas, Sanctified one

ُْ
ّٰ‫ُر ْو ُحّٰالق ُد ِس‬
Rūhu’l qudus, Spirit of purity

ْ
ّٰ‫ُر ْو ُحّٰاْل َ ِِّق‬
Rūhu’l haqq, Spirit of truth

ْ
ّٰ‫ُر ْو ُحّٰال ِق ْس ِط‬
Rūhu’l qist, Spirit of justice

َ
ّٰ‫َكف‬
Kāfin, One who suffices here and in the Hereafter

ْ
ّٰ‫ُمكتَف‬
Muktafin, Contented (with little)

ّٰ‫بَا ِلغ‬
Bāligh, One who has attained spiritual perfection

ِّ
ّٰ‫ُمبَ ِّٰلغ‬
Muballigh, the Deliverer of Allah’s Revelations

ّٰ‫شاف‬
Shāfin, Healer

ِ ‫َو‬
ّٰ‫اصل‬
Wāsil, the one who completed his journey to Allah

ّٰ‫َم ْو ُص ْول‬
Mawsūl, One bound by Allah

ّٰ‫َسابِق‬
Sābiq, First and foremost

ّٰ‫َسائِق‬
Sā’iq, Leading/driving force, one who urges on

َ
ّٰ‫هاد‬
Hādin, Guide

ْ
ّٰ‫ُمهد‬
Muhdin, One who gives guidance

َّ َ
ّٰ‫ُمقدم‬
Muqaddam, First and foremost, in the forefront

‫َع ِزيْ ّٰز‬

‘Azīz, Mighty, Honourable

َ
ّٰ‫اضل‬
ِ ‫ف‬
Fādil, Most Outstanding, Virtuous

َّ َ
ّٰ‫ُمفضل‬
Mufaddal, the Favoured one of Allah

 َ
ّٰ‫فاتِح‬
Fātih, Victorious, Opener (of the doors of mercy)

ْ
ّٰ‫ِمفتَاح‬
Miftāh, the Key

َ ْ ‫ّٰالر‬
ّٰ‫ْح ِة‬ ُ َ‫م ْفت‬
َّّٰ ‫اح‬ ِ
Miftāhu’r-Rahmah, the Key to Allah’s Mercy

َّ ْ ُ َ ْ
ّٰ‫احّٰاْلَن ِة‬‫ِمفت‬
Miftāhu’l Jannah, the Key to Paradise

ْ ََُ
َ ‫ّٰاْل ْي‬
ّٰ‫ان‬
ِ ِ ‫علم‬
‫م‬
‘Alamu’l Īmān, Symbol of faith

ْ َْ ُ َ َ
ّٰ‫ي‬
ِ ‫علمّٰاْل ِق‬
‘Alamu’l yaqīn, Symbol of certitude

ّٰ‫ات‬ َ ْ َْ ُ ْ َ
ِ ‫د ِْللّٰاْلي‬
Dalīlu’l khayrāt, Guide to good deeds, Proof of good deeds

َ َ َ ْ ُ ِّ َ ُ
ّٰ ِ ‫ححّٰاْلسن‬
‫ات‬ ِّٰ ‫مص‬
Musahhihu’l hasanāt, Perfecter of good deeds

َ ََْ ُْ ُ
ّٰ ِ ‫م ِقيلّٰالعَث‬
‫ات‬
Muqīlu’l ‘atharāt, Helper of those who stumble

َّ َّ َ ْ ُ َ
ّٰ‫ت‬
ِ ‫صفوحّٰع ِنّٰالز‬
‫ال‬
Safūhun ‘aniz-zallāt, Forgiver of offences

16
 َ ‫ّٰالش َف‬
ّٰ‫اع ِة‬
َّ ُ
‫احب‬ َ
ِ ‫ص‬
Sāhibu’sh-shafā‘ah, One endowed with intercession

َ ْ ُ
ّٰ‫بّٰال َمق ّٰا ِم‬‫اح‬ َ
ِ ‫ص‬
Sāhibu’l maqām, Possessor of the highest rank/position

َْ ُ
ّٰ‫بّٰالق َد ِم‬‫اح‬ َ
ِ ‫ص‬
Sāhibu’l qadam, One endued with precedence/lofty rank

ْ َْ
ّٰ‫ُم ُص ْوصّٰبِال ِع ِّ ِز‬
Makhsūs(un) bi’l ‘izz, Distinguished with exclusively special might/honour

ْ ْ َْ
ّٰ‫ُم ُص ْوصّٰبِال َمج ِد‬
Makhsūs(un) bi’l majd, Distinguished with exclusively special glory

َ َّ ‫َُمْ ُص ْوصّٰب‬
ّٰ‫الش ِف‬ ِ
Makhsūs(un) bi’sh-sharaf, Distinguished with exclusively special nobility

َ ْ ُ
ّٰ‫بّٰال َو ِسيْل ِة‬‫اح‬ َ
ِ ‫ص‬
Sāhibu’l wasīlah, Possessor of the means (to Allah’s Mercy)

ّٰ‫ّٰالسيْ ِف‬
َّ ‫ب‬ ُ ‫َصاح‬
ِ
Sāhibu’s-sayf, Owner of the sword against Allah’s enemies

َْ َْ ُ َ
‫احبّٰالف ِضيل ِّٰة‬
ِ ‫ص‬
Sāhibu’l fadīlah, Possessor of Allah’s Grace

ْ ُ
َ ‫ّٰاْل‬ َ
ّٰ‫ار‬
ِ ‫ز‬ ِ ‫ب‬‫اح‬
ِ ‫ص‬
Sāhibu’l izār, Owner of the wrapper/ covering of Prophethood

ْ ُ
ّٰ‫بّٰاْل ُ َّج ِة‬‫اح‬ َ
ِ ‫ص‬
Sāhibu’l hujjah, Possessor of the proof

 ّٰ‫ان‬ّٰ
‫ط‬ َ ْ‫ّٰالسل‬
ُّ ‫ب‬ ِّٰ ‫َص‬
ُ ‫اح‬
ِ
Sāhibus-sultān, Owner of dominion/authority

َ ِّ ُ َ
ّٰ‫ّٰالردا ِء‬
ِّٰ ‫احب‬
ِ ‫ص‬
Sāhibu’r-ridā’, Owner of the covering cloth

ّٰ‫ّٰالر ِفيْ َع ِة‬

َّ ‫ّٰادل َر َج ِة‬
َّ ‫ب‬ ُ ‫َصاح‬
ِ
Sāhibu’d-darajati’r-rafī‘ah, One endowed with the exalted position/rank

ّٰ‫اج‬ َّ ‫ب‬ ُ ‫َصاح‬

ِ ‫ّٰاتل‬ ِ
Sāhibu’t-tāj, the Crowned one (on the night of Mi‘rāj)

َْ ْ ُ َ
ّٰ‫بّٰال ِمغف ِر‬‫اح‬
ِ ‫ص‬
Sāhibu’l mighfar, One who wears the helmet

ِّ ُ َ
ّٰ‫بّٰال ِّٰل َوا ِء‬‫اح‬
ِ ‫ص‬
Sāhibu’l-liwā’, Holder of the banner

ْ ْ ُ َ
ِ ‫احبّٰال ِمع َر‬
ّٰ‫اج‬ ِ ‫ص‬
Sāhibu’l Mi‘rāj, Master of heavenly ascension

ّٰ‫ب‬ْ‫بّٰالْ َقضي‬
ُ ‫َصاح‬
ِ ِ ِ
Sāhibu’l qadīb, Holder of the rod/staff (of Prophethood)

َ ُ ْ ُ َ
ِّٰ ‫احبّٰالب‬
‫اق‬ ِ ‫ص‬
Sāhibu’l burāq, the Rider of the Burāq

َ ْ ُ
ّٰ‫بّٰاْلَات ِم‬‫اح‬ َ
ِ ‫ص‬
Sāhibu’l khātam, Possessor of the Seal (of Prophethood)

َ ْ ُ
ّٰ‫ال َم ِة‬
ّٰ ‫بّٰال َع‬‫اح‬ َ
ِ ‫ص‬
Sāhibu’l ‘alāmah, Possessor of the Sign (of Prophethood)

 َ ُْْ ُ َ
ّٰ‫ان‬
ِ ‫احبّٰالب‬
‫ه‬ ِ ‫ص‬
Sāhibu’l Burhān, One endowed with the clear proof

ّٰ‫ان‬ َْ ‫ب‬
َ‫ّٰاْلي‬ ُ ‫َصاح‬
ِ
ِ
Sāhibu’l Bayān, the Possessor of the Qur’an

ّٰ‫ان‬ َ ِّ ُ ْ َ
ِ ‫ف ِصيحّٰال ِّٰلس‬
Fasīhu’l-lisān, Eloquent and effective of speech

ْ ُ َّ َ ُ
َ‫اْلَن‬
ّٰ‫ان‬
ِ ّٰ‫مطه ّٰر‬
Mutahharu’l janān, One with a purified heart

ُ
ّٰ‫َرؤ ْوف‬
Ra’ūf, Clement, Most Kind

‫َّٰر ِحيْ ّٰم‬

Rahīm, Merciful

ْ‫ي‬ َ ُ ُُ
ّٰ ‫أذنّٰخ‬
Udhunu khayr, Hearer of good

َ ْ ْ ُْ َ
‫سال ِّٰم‬
ّٰ ‫ّٰاْل‬
ِ ‫ص ِحيح‬
Sahīhu’l Islām, Establisher of the correct Message of Islam

ْ َ ْ َ ْ ُ ِّ َ
ِّٰ ‫س ِّٰيدّٰالكون‬
‫ي‬
Sayyidu’l kawnayn, Master of this world and the Hereafter

ّٰ‫ّٰانل ِّٰعيْ ِم‬

َّ ‫ي‬ ُ ْ ‫َع‬
‘Aynu’n-na‘īm, Source of Allah’s Blessings

ُْ َُْ
ّٰ‫يّٰالغ ِّ ِر‬ ‫ع‬
‘Aynu’l ghurr, Source of beauty/radiance

 ّٰ‫لل‬ ُ ْ َ
ِ ‫سعدّٰا‬
Sa‘dullāh, Joy of Allah

ْ َْ ُ ْ َ
ِّٰ ‫سعدّٰاْلل‬
‫ق‬
Sa‘du’l khalq, Joy of all creation
ُْ ُ ْ َ
َ‫ّٰاْلم ّٰم‬
ِ ‫خ ِطيب‬
Khatību’l umam, Preacher to all humanity

ْ َ
‫َعل ُمّٰال ُه ٰدى‬
‘Alamu’l hudā, the Sign of the guidance

ُ ْ ُ َ
ّٰ‫َك ِشفّٰالك َر ِب‬
Kāshifu’l kurab, Remover of hardships/distress

َ ُّ ُ َ
ّٰ‫ب‬
ِ ‫رافِعّٰالرت‬
Rāfi‘ur-rutab, Raiser of the ranks of believers

ْ
ّٰ‫ِع ُّزّٰال َع َر ِب‬
‘Izzu’l ‘Arab, Honour of the Arabs

َْ ُ َ
ّٰ‫بّٰالف َر ِج‬‫اح‬
ِ ‫ص‬
Sāhibu’l faraj, Source of bliss/comfort
َّ َ َ َ ْ َ َ ُ َّ َ
ّٰ‫ّٰآلّٰ َو َسل َم‬
ِّٰ ِ ‫ّٰوّٰلَع‬ ‫صَّلّٰاللّٰعلي ِه‬
May Allah bless him and his Family and grant him peace
